Actually I wouls say NE is looking better in the first 20 minutes here..more chances...but DC has been dangerous in spurts.

2-2 at the half. Handball in the box on Carroll. PK Pierce.

We're getting outplayed. Most of the game is in front of our net. They're going over, around and through Olsen and Carroll and have numbers on our back three. EZ looks lost.

Our goals by Esky & Jaime were things of beauty -- Esky's 40/50 yards of hustle and individual effort and determination. Jaime's a work of art curling in at the near post.

Apart from those two shots, however, we've been pretty well dominated. Let's see what Peter can do at half time to change things. Otherwise, it's been a good season ....

MLS/Yahoo Video is working for me...

I got there off of dcunited.com rather than mlsnet.com. I don't know if that might make a difference. Pretty great match so far.

Ralston scored on a PK that went off the post, then off of Rimando's back and into the net. Bad break.

Tied at halftime 2-2. Tough penalty break for Rimando...ball bounces off the post off him in. Wasn't his fault, but he will feel like it is.

Great crowd at RFK. Loud and vocal with their support. Too bad though...i sense a Revs win, and that's mostly because Ezra Hendrickson is not a good centerback. He's been exposed all night....unless Novak realizes this and makes adjustments at halftime, I have a feeling New England is going to make a laughing stock out of MLS cup, where a team that can't even get 10 wins in a season can make it to the final, let alone win the whole enchilada.

I was noticed the same thing. I know this sounds like a cliche but..he looks lost out there. You can see him drifting around not looking sure where everyone is or where he should be ..esspecially on Twellman's goal.

After that melee in the 49th in which Alecko recklessly challenged not one, but two people, as he was walking back upfield adjusting his sleeves and so on, he looked down and winced as if he knew he had just embarrassed himself. As much as Esky has been a Crew killer in the past two years, I still like him. He's a real talent. I would just like to see less petulant behavior.

Great match, btw. As much as I wanted to see the Crew tonight, hats off to both clubs this evening. They are both proving they belong where they are.

    Adu

He took a penalty this year against Nottingham Forrest that was surgical..no fear and taken like a man..I would have no problem seeing him step up to the spot.
