    Darkness!!!
Didn't United used to wear Master Card patches on their jerseys? What happened to them? Can United find no one to put up a couple of bucks as a sponsor?

Mastercard was the DcUnited sponsor, I think through the 2000 season. For whatever reason, they decided to scale back their sponsorship, so while they remained a league sponsor, they dropped their team sponsorship, hence the disappearance of the logo.

Before the start of the season, I heard from a DC United staffer that they were close to striking a deal with a new sponsor, but that obviously hasn't panned out. (Like a lot of things for DC this season, I guess)

As I have grown to understand this topic, the league controls all the sponsorships and is apparently asking serious bean to be a uniform sponsor for DCU.

You got it. NetZero is the obvious sponsor.

Or maybe one of the brothels in Vegas.

We should get the same sponsors as Arsenal.

According to an in today's USA Today , ADT and possibly Burger King will be new MLS sponsors. So we may have one yet. I hope it is ADT, Burger King would look corny.

Few potential sponsers are as corny looking as the Tony the Tiger patches some team wore......or the Target logos that Richmond has/had.

I don't know. Isn't ADT's logo white letters on a blue blackground? I hate it when jersey logos clash with the jersey. If you're gonna have them I like them seamless.
