I think we got this. A tie would be sufficient (barring Costa Rica just annihilating Colombia), but against Paraguay, I'll be disappointed without a win.
As of yesterday on FOX they mentioned 50K tickets were sold. Could be the biggest Pro-USA crowd ever. U-S-A!
Here's hoping Klinsmann sticks with a 4-4-2, which got the most out of Wood and Zardes against CRC. Will we get to watch Pulisic play meaningful minutes on his home turf? We'll win fairly comfortably.
If we lose at all we are out. Colombia already has 6 points so they get one of the spots no matter what happens today. Paraguay has 1 point, so if they win today they'll have 4 points and we'd be eliminated no matter the outcome of the other game, since we only have 3 points.
Just ignore him. When his best analysis and prognostication is based on that he is either just trolling or mentally handicapped in some way.
The US should win, though it's nice to be in a position to draw and advance due to the Costa Rica-Paraguay 0-0.
We beat Italy and Germany. This is like a Rohrschack test. Half empty or half full? Lately we have been playing well so Isay win.
Put Dempsey in as the middle of the front three, move Zardes to the right, relegate Zusi to the bench, and it's not bad.
I understand, I really do. That is why I focus on us scoring first. If they score first..... well well... lets just say I will bump a thread I started... USA all the way mofos! If Zardes starts, I may turn to alcohol... permanently.
Hey at least I don't get disappointed when we lose. It really is amazing that JK is still the coach. He must have a ridiculous release clause on his contract.
Well yeah, when you ignore the fact that he has Zusi over Dempsey in that lineup, it's not that bad. That like saying, "Your honor, the defendant is a decent person if you ignore the fact that he committed murder". How can you replace our best player and a guy that had a hand in all 3 first half goals vs. CR with Graham Zusi, a 30 yr. old career MLS player? That is just a shocking, blasphemous decision.
