Its just an embarrassment. If he was some prodigy who scored like 30 goals in 15 games or something like that, then maybe it wouldn't look so bad, but this is a player who had average performances at the amateur level.
My biggest issue is benching two guys who've actually been hot for the NT this year in Shea and Orozco. They;ve been studs of late. SMH. I'd bitch slap you Jurgen if I could.
Eh, what? Jeff Carlisle @JeffreyCarlisle · 6m6 minutes ago Looks like Bill Hamid is the only #usmnt player who isn't available as a sub.
He's a clear upgrade over Garza. I had the opposite opinion not to long ago, but its pretty clear right now that Shea is a much better player.
For those who have Cable /Satellite /U-Verse/ Fiber optics of some sort, you can watch in Spanish by logging into Univision's site here: http://deportesenvivo.univision.com/channel/udn
Thats such Klinsmann logic. I really don't know what more he could do. He's in his early-mid 20's and won GK of the year in his domestic league. Hamid will probably need to go to Europe to get a chance.
Well, it's official... Morris gives good head. What a joke, seriously. I'm fine with firing Klinsmann before the game even begins.
I don't watch a ton of club ball but I've seen Garza in our jersey and I was a big fan of his last year. Good Brek Shea is a clear upgrade over a lot of players but bad Brek Shea scares the hell out of me, and bad Brek Shea has shown up a lot in the National Team jersey. The guy had one good game against Switzerland and now he's clearly the better player?
Did you watch Garza against Denmark? Thats up there with Beasley at Costa Rica as one of the worst performances I've seen from a US LB in the last five years.
Maybe it's the vodka but I'm excited. I wouldn't have started him but oh well, it's a friendly. Let's see how he does.
That team out there is like your D/E-team. We're not going to learn much from this, regardless of result or how well/bad we look out there.
He was bad, he was pretty good in his caps last year. Brek Shea has had plenty of piss poor performances
Typical god damn Fox Sports. The app works on my phone but not on my computer that I can hook up to my tv. Not only that but half the time I can watch their app it looks like I'm back in 1996 trying to watch scrambled porn.
Yes, but it was because of his stature, not his play. He was tied for the third leading goal scorer on his own team. A CB had more goals than him. You are really telling me he's better than Agudelo? That logic is about as faulty as it gets.
I guess JK values speed more than ball control and size, what other reason he goes with Morris instead of Agudelo.
Brek's been much better in the last few months though. Garza even lost his place in the starting lineup for Xolos for a few games, and he's not been that good for Xolos all season. His form has really dropped off, while Shea has been really good of late.
So? Should Brandon Vincent get called up too? He outscored Morris as a defender and was also named a first-team All-American.
I would have started Agudelo and Wondo over him but he's look damn good in the youth teams, he's caught the eye of a lot of US coaches, and he's obviously not as bad at the college level as the poster I responded to made him see because he was voted All-American. I agree it's a weird choice, but whatever. I'm happy for the guy. Let's see how it goes before he jump off the ledge
