Its beyond pathetic that Klinsmann dislikes MLS so much that top players at their positions in MLS are now not starting over mediocre rotation players in Liga MX and a guy who didn't even lead his college soccer team in scoring. Its so beyond crazy.
Maybe for once our subs will be an improvement so we don't get scored on late. Novel concept, eh? I wasn't going to watch this. It pains me to see Garza out there but whatever. Nats till I die.
Because Klinsmann is Klinsmann. The best goalie in MLS is on the bench, and probably won't play once again. That doesn't matter though, we need those good locker room guys taking up minutes. The best #10 in MLS is on the bench for Corona, a player who's been nothing but mediocre in Liga MX for years. The best CB we have is on the bench for Alvarado a player who's been at best "okay" for Club America and has looked way out of place with the National Team. The best CF we have in this camp is on the bench for a player who didn't even lead his College Soccer team in scoring. Good luck to you guys. I hope you win. That'll be for the best of our National Team.

For those wondering about Alvarado starting over Besler, I'm hearing that Besler is ill. #usmnt— Jeff Carlisle (@JeffreyCarlisle) April 15, 2015 So that at least makes sense on 1 of them. The other three...
No issues with the lineup. Glad Wondo isn't starting and didn't expect Agudelo to walk right into the starting 11 considering he's been away for awhile.
Mexico's is even more experimental than ours. This game is to make some $$$ and do crazy stuff out there. 2-2?
I have no idea if he's ready for this level of play but every time I've seen Morris, he's been really good. Might as well see what he's got against a tough opponent. The most annoying thing about that lineup for me is Lee Nguyen not getting a chance to play his preferred role at the top of the diamond and allowing Bradley to do what he does best and go box to box. The narrow lineup combined with a RB who gets caught out of position often and a LB who gets burned for pace relatively often worries me.
Why are we playing this friendly? I understand the Euro friendlies and wanting a higher level away from home but this has all the makings of a 2 ACL, 2 Achilles, 2 Hamstring and 3 red card shit fest. I don't get the TV situation. I don't get the venue. I don't get the roster and I don't get pitch. I am truly puzzled by USSF and The Mexican federation's desire to play this friendly. I don't get any of it.
He hasn't been that good at the college level. 4 goals in 15 games last season at Stanford, third best on his team. It's a ********ing joke that he's here, and that stands regardless of what he does.
Maybe if we had Altidore, but its an absolute insult to Agudelo that a college soccer player is starting over him. Agudelo would break scoring records if he played in college soccer last season (he could've been age eligible to). Morris can't even be the leading scorer on his own team.
On FS1 all the talk is centered around Jordan Morris, although personally my big issue is Greg Garza vs Brek Shea at LB. I would've thought that the past several months would've made that fairly crystal clear, though Klinsmann doesn't only disagree, it would almost seem that he thinks it's the other way around.
nope, screw this, "i literally cant even", I didnt think It would have been scientifically possible for me to be uninterested in a US v Mexico game. Well, here we are. Hope it goes okay.....Hopefully we learn something from this friendly, but I doubt it. Makes it really easy to go write a midterm paper
