BTW: Freese did not even dive on the goal. He kind of laid down on his side and stuck his arms out. It was very very poor foot work, or lack thereof. It was a saveable shot and Freese let it in almost without objection.
when I see Tillman, Freeman, Richards, Wes. Flo and Tyler out there. - I see physical prowess and presence …. The game rewards that physicality … Freeman has daddy’s genes … Germany has Nmecha, Mussiala, Havertz etc … that’s the essence of my point
I'm moderately optomistic. Absent Ream and Robinson in center d, we look decent against a team with a shot at the semis.
I’m really just joking, but they keep reporting every minute that it’s a cramp. So it’s just the repetitiveness that makes my BS sensors turn on. I hope he is fine.
For those truly curious This center ref is not at the World Cup. He was on the initial list, but not selected https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piero_Maza
Yeah, a couple of turnovers doesn't really offset that Germany had nothing down the left side all day.
Doesn't seem to bother the players. The biggest threat is to fans who get hammered the night before and arrive at the games already dehydrated.
A pretty uninspiring second half considering this is the last chance for some of these guys to earn minutes.
