So weird. When they play a friendly in Europe, they don't have anyone who can play striker and have to drag Lletget across the pond. Now, back in the States, we still don't have anyone to play striker so one of the Euros comes back, even though Lletget is already in the squad. And here I was really hoping to get a look at Deke and back then had been wanting to see Soto. Whatever, I'm really interested in seeing how Soto looks with more time on the field and I'm hoping that McKenzie shows well. Also curious to see Aaronson. Several others are at east mildly interesting to see. Overall one of the biggest things to me will be seeing if the "new" midfield setup as played in the Wales and Panama games follows the team into this game or if he will use a different midfield strategy with a different squad.
Well, I think it is likely different. While the Adams + McKennie + Musah is a 6 with two 8s (in my view), if we see Acosta + Lletget + Aaronson, that is a 6 with two 8/10 types. Much more offensive setup.
Hamid; Araujo, Long, McKenzie, Vines; Aaronson, Yuiell, Arriola; Mueller, Akinola, Lletget Looks like a 4-4-2 but a 4-3-3 in transition.
I could see Arriola getting something in this game. Gonna be a lot of loose balls for him to run after.
Wow. Everyone yells at Gregg for playing players out of position, so he puts Soto in his club position, and now everyone is complaining
