Agree, but this was obvious. Gregg called in the MLS guys for a friendly, each missing MLS matches. They are all going to play so Twellman can explain that MLS still has a huge role to play in the NT. Frankly - I wouldn't be surprised if this is Gregg's preferred A-team, adding CP/Steffen for Aaronson. Should be fun to watch.

There's probably a few too many pieces on both sides missing to call this this full strength, but it's a lot closer than I expected. Should be fun. Lletget over Musah is a head scratcher, but every time I crap on Lletget he plays super well so we'll see
Indeed. Guys who are definitely going to start the nations league games - Brooks, McKennie, Reyna, Dest - I would like to see replaced at the half or by minute 60.
Looking forward to seeing how the partnerships on the field play out. Could be Mckenzies audition to play this summer. Aaronsen and Reyna auditioning to play opposite Pulisic. Sargent needs a good display today as well. Mushas exclusion may be due to health/rest otherwise not a bad lineup at all. Interesting game but with new partnerships all over the field I can see a 2-1 scoreline either way with Embolo creating a few bad situations for our backing, and our wing players giving their back line some issues. Fun game and look forward to it, main thing is just getting better together.

I find it impossible to grade the team when Cannon is playing. He kind of hangs there like a rock on a rope with the other end tied to the team. What is it with US Soccer when they get their pea brain stuck on a player. Don't they understand it really is a team sport? Would have liked Gio or Aaronson, not both. Having both will stifle creativity. Hoppe should have played for Aaronson -------------Weah OR Hoppe -------Brenden OR Gio----Sarge ---musah-----------------------------Dest ------------------etc, etc. Speed, dribbling, youth, courage and defense on the edges. A centre forward who can get behind the defense. (Not Sarge's game.) One dribbling/passing short midfielder. One off forward with playmaking, flicks around the cb's, rifle shot, able to press, defend, etc. I think Berhalter has a hard time understanding the catalyst that makes everything work together towards the desired outcome. In his mind it is Frederico Higuain. Having said that, I'm going to shut up and enjoy the game. GO USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love NCAA softball which was my sport before turning to soccer. (Insert alligator head here). Still, I've never understood the programming on ESPN. They want to get all the world soccer worth watching in house and then they will continue to spit on the fan. Booooo
