What does ARob have to do to secure a place in the starting XI?

I'm concerned because of the hole that was dug, and this is a game we may need a result in, while it's the toughest.

But the lineup & formation appear solid given what he had to work with. Now let's see it play out.

Jays Brother with an unhinged interview on pregame. Bizarre lineup, hate josh on the wing and i for one think we’ve always looked extra disjointed with three in the back.

But my main takeaway from this lineup is that starting Bello is a slap in the face to Robinson who was excellent against Canada.

Whatever, this’ll be interesting one way or the other.

Either be a shitty mls journeyman or a starting RIGHT back for Barcelona? Nothing in between.

Pros - Pepi and Sargent perhaps dual forwards
Cons - Tyler is a wingback? Very little creativity.

I'm hoping for the grimiest, ugliest, most rancid 1-0 imaginable. A set piece goal by one of the center backs, or a Honduran own goal. Get the 3 points, and let the knives come out.

I thought Adams was Defensive MF/Central MF; not a fullback or wing back

Puli's gonna need to have one of those, I'm the best player in the pool period, type games and really put a stamp on it for us to come away with 3pts.

People talking about needing familiarity with teammates and the system.....SMFH I mean look at the lineup and formation with all the new faces in new positions.

Lineup they just went over was 5 - 2 - 3 with Bello and Adams as wingbacks.

I like that Greg is actually seriously trying to drastically change thing up and rattle the cage. It sucks that it had to literally come during a do-or-die qualifier but, here we are.

aaaand Im getting started on the Corralejo a little too early, I can feel it.

    He is, primarily.

Managers who try to be too cute like to use him as a wingback who tucks inside to be part of the midfield in attack. About a third of his club-level appearances have been somewhere on the right wing.

I don't think it works well.

    We need to score goals?

Next game we’ll play with 6 defenders.

If Puli is in a floating role which it looks he will be wide-central-wide and expecting to receive higher more as part of the front 3, and Adams pushes up, by defacto Kellyn Acosta will be the closest thing to our #10.

    Cool.:):thumbsup::eek:

That seems a strange formation for that lineup. Autopenalti is trolling you, no?

i guess, no. That is three CBs. I doubt we will find adams as RWB. Acosta is far more likely with Adams and Sands plying central

Either Pulisic Adams and Pepi decide to put this team on their back and carry them or this will get ugly in a hurry. 3-5-2 seems pretty risky here

I honestly have no idea what to think about this lineup/match. My heart wants a Pepi coming out party followed by a W. My head is saying we'll be lucky to hang on to a draw and it won't be pretty.
