Yup. When you are constantly under siege there comes a point where you give up goals because it's impossible to be perfect.
Please, provide some evidence for this. There has been little reason to believe we are more organizationally sound than 13 months ago.
The fact that Dave Sarachan has been at the helm for all these games against quality opposition is a testament to just how bad this federation is run. What a complete waste of time these games have turned in to.
Costa Rica lost 2-0 in Leeds but frankly they looked a lot better. Towards the end the English also put the auto-pilot, but for an hour the Ticos pushed them to actually put in some effort.
Yep I'd almost rather they not have played these games at all. All it's done is crush any confidence they might've had.
Almost wanting to hear the Rooney final interview: "Wayne, what are your impressions of the game?" "Yep sun imme uhn an' ell dosh uminit." "Uh... thank you...?" "Nim um galosh migu, shap!"
Oh yeah! the all consuming, all knowing, DOUBLE pivot. Bam Bam, you thought we could just pivot backwards one way, we are double jointed bitch! we pivot backwards but doubly so!
I think the first few games were fine. But I agree, this is just accomplishing nothing at this point except killing morale.
To be honest, all the trolls who tell us we suck are right. It's official now. Nothing less than a full walkout on this team by the fanbase will be acceptable. Don't buy any tickets for friendlies in the USA or any of the US's world cup qualifiers. There must be a way to make USSF pay financially for this.
How many times do I have to explain to a team's fans losing 0-3 about how it doesn't make sense to start defenders who make these mistakes "because they pass decent." I've been watching B.1 a bunch this year and what I see from Brooks is he likes to clear balls out from a zonal spot while marking no one, but that when it comes time to mark he's usually not where he needs to be. if you kick aimless balls in he clears them out and looks ok. If you play ball to feet and turn and come at him, or thread a pass by him, he might be as bad as Omar as a marking back. Do people forget CR 4-0? I can't. I was beating the drum before this that we haven't learned the lesson of running out people who can defend. Yedlin can even come in for 10 minutes and give up an equalizer and be right back out there next game. So people need to decide, is the defense out there to defend? If so the selection is all wrong. Go find me 4 people who can defend, and then maybe on some night when we're evenly matched we can sneak on a guy who can cross well.
