Goff has Eskadarian and Curtis up top, Haydon, Q2 and Curtis. Eskadarian probably deserves a shot to prove something.
Curtis has had so few minutes so far this season, that he's in the position to say that he hasn't be useless this season. He just hasn't been used. I hope he does start. It'll add a little something different to our already pathetic offensive prowess.
While all the above is definitely accurate in describing Curtis, his history has indicated that when he starts and plays for 90 minutes, he is really a non factor in most games..
Why "pretty" footballers? What is Ray trying to say? Is this some "hard man' talk from Ray -- trying to shame his players? Is this evidence that Ray doesn't like the typical American style of football -- too much skill, too little stick? Is this an attempt to shift the blame to the players -- they just won't do what I want them to? What's Ray going on about?
Blah, Blah, Blah We've heard it before Ray. You're veiled empty threats. Its like the boy crying wolf again. Over and over, you seem to try and use this for a motivational tool. You run to the press, screaming of rumors of changes if things don't pick up, and when they don't, you don't do jack. Maybe if you actually followed up on some of your words, they could be used as motivation. But you always seem to back off it. Make a threat of changes and then your big "changes" are to bring in "Bottle Rocket" Roy or Zambrano. Oooh... I'd be scared. Please Ray, don't get the gullible fans' hopes up that you might actually do something. Stop blowing smoke up our arses. Words with no action are worthless.
