If you are in the USA and pay for Paramount Plus, you can watch Nicaragua vs. Haiti at https://www.paramountplus.com/live-tv/stream/more-soccer/e7f2cd44-7f4d-4d20-bd57-20431de4026c/ and Honduras vs. Costa Rica at https://www.paramountplus.com/live-tv/stream/more-soccer/6f819673-fcd9-4faa-9848-6c63a41fd675/ Danley Jean Jacques scored in the 34th, and it is Nicaragua 0-2 Haiti at halftime.
Sub Louicius Deedson scored in the 90+2nd as the first game ended Nicaragua 0-3 Haiti. Nicaragua had more possession, shots, shots inside the box, touches in opposition box, and passes in the final third. Haiti had more shots on target 6 to 3. Nicaragua had more saves 4 to 3, and the saves and goals add up to 7 shots on goal for Haiti, not 6, https://www.flashscore.com/match/fo...aragua-6L9QjkfT/summary/stats/0/?mid=AgzFExgB is wrong. There were no own goals. I guess it is possible that Nicaragua saved what could have been an own goal, but in that case there should be a statistic of shots at own goal. Haiti dominated expected goals on target 2.73 to 0.03. Costa Rica had 28 percent of possession and no shots in the first half, so they are not playing at World Cup level. It is now in the 53rd with no shots by Costa Rica and no goals by either team. Edit: In the 75th minute. Honduras and Costa Rica combined for no shots on target, 1 big chance (Honduras), 2 corner kicks (both by Honduras), and 0.42 expected goals (0.39 by Honduras). There was a play that the announcer said could have been a penalty kick, but a penalty kick was not given, and VAR was not used by the referee.
Costa Rica got their offense going late. They hit the crossbar from right in front of the goal in the 80th, at which time they did not have a shot on target. After no shots in the first half, they got 5 shots including 1 on target. Honduras had 11 shots including 1 on target. It ended 0-0. Honduras had 72 percent of possession in each half. Honduras ends at Costa Rica. Group C had 4 of 6 games be draws. The standings are: Haiti: 5 points, +3 Honduras: 5 points, +2 Costa Rica: 3 points, +0 Nicaragua: 1 point, -5 Costa Rica hosts Nicaragua next, and Costa Rica is in big trouble if they do not win. If Costa Rica wins and Honduras vs. Haiti is a draw, there will be a three-way tie for first with 6 points. Haiti has only played one game that was supposed to be at home, but they had to play in Curacao. Haiti's only World Cup appearance was in 1974, so they are trying to qualify for the second time like Canada did for World Cup 2022.

Suriname has better statistics including more shots on target 3 to 0, but it is 0-0 in the 52nd. Edit: Trinidad and Tobago scored in the 10th, and it is Bermuda 0-1 Trinidad and Tobago in the 22nd. Telemundo Deportes is streaming the game at so if you are in the USA and do not pay for Paramount Plus, you can watch in Spanish. Suriname and Guatemala are still 0-0 in the 67th.
Darwin Lom scored in the 75th to give Guatemala the lead, and Suriname is in the 86th without a shot on target in the second half. If it finishes Suriname 0-1 Guatemala, both of them will have 1 win, 1 draw, 1 loss, 2 goals scored, and 2 goals allowed. Edit: Suriname got a shot on target, but it did not go in. The other game in progress is Bermuda 0-2 Trinidad and Tobago. Edit: Suriname scored in the 90+4th to get a 1-1 draw and remain in first, which could change tonight. Suriname's corner kick was punched away by the goalkeeper, but Virgil Misidjan shot from outside the box, and got the ball through a crowd of players and in the goal. Subs scored both goals. Suriname has 5 points, and Guatemala has 2 points. https://www.paramountplus.com/live-tv/stream/more-soccer/0087bcbc-c532-4fdd-a8f7-a7884d4bc69d/ has video of Bermuda vs. Trinidad and Tobago. It is Bermuda 0-2 Trinidad and Tobago at halftime. Curacao vs. Jamaica just started.
Bermuda 0-3 Trinidad and Tobago (Final) Trinidad and Tobago had 22 shots including 8 on target and 13 in the box. Curacao 1-0 Jamaica (47th) Livano Comenencia scored in the 14th. Both teams have 5 shots. Jamaica has more shots on target 3 to 2. If you live in the USA and pay for Paramount Plus, you can watch at https://www.paramountplus.com/live-tv/stream/more-soccer/b490a44a-6710-4f33-a4b8-d63b9a0bdeb4/ If Curacao wins today, hosting Trinidad and Tobago in four days, and at Bermuda on Matchday 5, Curacao could clinch being one of the best two second place teams if they do not win the group. Curacao ends at Jamaica. Edit: Kenji Gorre scored in the 68th to give Curacao a 2-0 lead. Wikipedia says that Curacao has 156,115 people. The announcer said that Jamaica is without Leon Bailey and Michail Antonio.
Jamaica's Richard King got the ball in the goal in the 90th to give Jamaica hope of a tying goal in stoppage time, but King lost his goal because VAR determined that an offside player who did not touch the ball interfered with a Curacao defender. The announcer said it was a close call. It ended Curacao 2-0 Jamaica. Jamaica had better statistics including 58 percent of possession, expected goals (xG) 1.36 to 0.44, shots 18 to 7, shots on target 6 to 4, big chances 2 to 0, corner kicks 4 to 0, free kicks 10 to 7, shots inside the box 12 to 4, touches in opposition box 29 to 9, and passes in the final third 110 to 63. Through three games, the Group B standings are: Curacao: 7 points, +3 Jamaica: 6 points, +4 Trinidad and Tobago: 4 points, +1 Bermuda: 0 points, -8 If Curacao wins hosting Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica wins hosting Bermuda, Trinidad and Tobago will be 5 points behind second with two games left, in which case they would need to beat Jamaica and have Jamaica lose hosting Curacao or draw with Trinidad and Tobago having a better goal differential than Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago being one of the best two second place teams. If Curacao wins hosting Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica wins hosting Bermuda, Trinidad and Tobago will be 6 points behind Curacao, and since Curacao plays Bermuda in November, two Trinidad and Tobago wins and two Curacao losses in November is not realistic. El Salvador vs. Panama is 0-0 in the 8th.
Concacaf had two goals in the last minute of a half other than stoppage time taken away by VAR. I already typed about Jamaica in the 90th. El Salvador vs. Panama is 0-0 at halftime. In the 45th minute, El Salvador made a long pass from their half, and they ended up scoring with two attackers closer to the goal than every Panamanian including the goalkeeper. The goal was taken away because one of the attackers moved his arm into a Panamanian's back. The announcer said that both teams were helped by VAR decisions. I did not see it, but Panama got a penalty kick taken away by VAR. Because of two VARs and an injury, the first half had 9 minutes of stoppage time. Panama has 71 percent of possession. Both teams have two shots including one shot on target. If you live in the USA and pay for Paramount Plus, you can watch at https://www.paramountplus.com/live-tv/stream/more-soccer/a1a623cb-c1cb-4fb8-bed6-063c3e44b02a/ and Paramount Plus lets you watch completed games, not just games in progress. Edit: Panama's Jose Fajardo scored the first goal in the 55th. If it finishes El Salvador 0-1 Panama, Suriname will lead on goals scored, and they came from the bottom pot of the draw. They are 131st in the FIFA Rankings.
El Salvador 0-1 Panama El Salvador got a shot on target in stoppage time, but they did not score at home. Statistics were mixed. Panama led in possession, corner kicks, free kicks, shots inside the box, expected goals on target, touches in opposition box, and passes in the final third. El Salvador led in expected goals (xG), shots, and big chances. Both teams had 2 shots on target. The Group A standings are: Suriname: 5 points, +1, 3 goals scored Panama: 5 points, +1, 2 goals scored El Salvador: 3 points, -1 Guatemala: 2 points, -1 It is only 3 points and 2 goal differential separating first and last. Pot 1 of the draw had Panama, Costa Rica, and Jamaica, and they are disappointing. The three group leaders are Curacao from Pot 2, Haiti from Pot 3, and Suriname from Pot 4. Caribbean teams have four World Cup appearances, most recently by Trinidad and Tobago in 2006. No Caribbean team has played in more than one World Cup, and no World Cup has had more than one Caribbean team. Suriname is geographically in South America, but plays in the Caribbean. Group B has only Caribbean teams, so one is guaranteed to qualify, but did anybody expect Caribbean teams to lead every group at the halfway point? Here are highlights from today's first three games: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCF78N84fAA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1D6-9g4MJec https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAL84SnzSSA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58yNhQVDVPI I do not know why some of my YouTube links become videos and some remain as links.
With Panama as the worst second place team and Costa Rica in third, the top two teams in the FIFA Rankings of these twelve teams would not qualify as of now. Panama is 29th, and it would be bad for a team ranked well into the top 48 not qualify other than if they are in UEFA which has way more teams in the top 48 than spots. https://www.fifa.com/en/tournaments...lifiers-third-round-matchday-three-review-two is titled "Curaçao and Panama earn vital wins as Suriname rescue draw." Here are highlights from El Salvador vs. Panama:
Honduras is hosting Haiti, and Honduras took a 1-0 lead in the 18th. If there is a loser, that team will be passed by Costa Rica if Costa Rica wins hosting Nicaragua later tonight. If Honduras vs. Haiti is a draw, Costa Rica can move up from third to second or first if they win by enough goals. If you live in the USA and pay for Paramount Plus, you can watch at https://www.paramountplus.com/live-tv/stream/more-soccer/915f8576-5aed-4941-8535-f52f1d6285fd/ and Paramount Plus does not have the link for Costa Rica vs. Nicaragua yet. Here are probabilities based on odds: Honduras win: 44.1 percent Draw: 30.9 percent Haiti: 25.0 percent Costa Rica win: 82.9 percent Draw: 12.2 percent Nicaragua win: 4.8 percent It adds up to 99.9 percent because of rounding. Edit: Cristopher Melendez scored in the 18th, (Choco) Anthony Lozano scored in the 26th, and Rommel Quioto scored in the 40th to put Honduras up 3-0. Haiti has a majority of possession. It looks like Honduras will end the night in first, and Haiti will fall to third unless they get help from Nicaragua against Costa Rica.
Nobody scored in the second half, so Honduras won 3-0. Honduras had more expect goals on target 3.11 to 0.13. https://www.flashscore.com/match/football/haiti-nk4v10Z1/honduras-fP8cJrsS/summary/stats/0/ has statistics. Costa Rica vs. Nicaragua is 0-0 in the 8th, and Costa Rica got a yellow card. Edit: Costa Rica has more shots 10 to 1, but Nicaragua's shot went in. Costa Rica's Alonso Martinez scored in the 12th. Junior Arteaga tied it in the 26th, but Martinez scored in the 29th to go up 2-1. It means that Nicaragua scored in both games against Costa Rica.
Costa Rica leads 2-1 at halftime. Costa Rica has more shots inside the box 12 to 1. Nicaragua does not have any big chances or corner kicks. Nicaragua has 59 percent of possession, and more free kicks 7 to 2. Edit: Manfred Ugalde, who assisted on the first goal, scored to go up 3-1. Here are highlights of Honduras vs. Haiti:
Francisco Calvo scored in the 90+4th, and Costa Rica won 4-1. Nicaragua had 59 percent of possession in the first half, 70 percent in the second half, and 65 percent in the whole game. Even with all of that second half possession, Costa Rica had more shots on target 4 to 1. I plan on posting highlights tomorrow, when there will be four games. The standings are: Honduras: 8 points, +5 Costa Rica: 6 points, +3 Haiti: 5 points, +0 Nicaragua: 1 point, -8 After Matchday 4, Group A will have the worst second place team unless El Salvador has a blowout win hosting Guatemala. El Salvador has 3 points and -1.
Costa Rica vs. Nicaragua highlights: Curacao is hosting Trinidad and Tobago, and Curacao's Kenji Gorre scored in the 19th, which was the only goal of the first half. Edit: It is now 1-1, and Jamaica vs. Bermuda is 0-0.
Curacao 1-1 Trinidad and Tobago (Final) Jamaica 3-0 Bermuda (50th) Panama 0-0 Suriname (8th) El Salvador vs. Guatemala later Assuming Jamaica wins, it makes Group B have Jamaica with 9, Curacao with 8, Trinidad and Tobago with 5, and Bermuda with 0. Bermuda is the first team eliminated from this round, and the only team that can be eliminated today. Curacao will end the night as the best second place team, so they are in position for the interconfederational playoffs. If Curacao wins at Bermuda, Curacao will finish with at least as many points as Trinidad and Tobago.
Jamaica 4-0 Bermuda (Final) Panama 0-1 Suriname (46th) El Salvador 0-0 Guatemala (7th) Suriname's Richonell Margaret scored in the 21st, and Suriname is leading in what was supposed to be their hardest game. Panama has the best FIFA Ranking of the twelve teams, and Suriname is only above Bermuda. If Suriname wins, Panama will end the night out of qualifying position. El Salvador or Guatemala would be second if they win, and Panama would be the worst second place team if El Salvador vs. Guatemala is a draw.
In stoppage time, VAR decided that Panama did not deserve a penalty kick, but they scored in the 90+6th to get a 1-1 draw. Panama will end the night as the worst second place team unless El Salvador wins by at least 2 to pass Panama.
Suriname played consecutive games in which the home team scored in the 90+4th or later to get a 1-1 draw. El Salvador 0-1 Guatemala made El Salvador have a horrible month with consecutive home losses, while Guatemala got 4 away points this month. Oscar Santis scored in the 46th, so El Salvador did not defend well when the second half started. https://www.concacaf.com/en/world-c...defeats-bermuda-to-retake-control-of-group-b/ is titled "Jamaica defeats Bermuda to retake control of Group B." https://www.concacaf.com/en/world-c...rinidad-and-tobago-level-in-group-b-showdown/ is titled "Curaçao, Trinidad and Tobago level in Group B showdown." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_FIFA_World_Cup_qualification_–_CONCACAF_third_round has information. Here are the standings in Group A and Group B (I posted Group C yesterday): Group A: Suriname: 6 points, +1, 4 goals scored Panama: 6 points, +1, 3 goals scored Guatemala: 5 points, +0 El Salvador: 3 points, -2 6 points, +1, and 4 goals scored is not normally enough to lead a group through four games, but it is. Four of the eight games were draws. Matchday 5: Suriname vs. El Salvador, Guatemala vs. Panama Matchday 6: Guatemala vs. Suriname, Panama vs. El Salvador Group B: Jamaica: 9 points, +8 Curacao: 8 points, +3 Trinidad and Tobago: 5 points, +1 Bermuda: 0 points, -12 Matchday 5: Bermuda vs. Curacao, Trinidad and Tobago vs. Jamaica Matchday 6: Jamaica vs. Curacao, Trinidad and Tobago vs. Bermuda Second place teams: Curacao: 8 points, +3 Costa Rica: 6 points, +3 Panama: 6 points, +1 (would be eliminated if qualifying was over now) I will post more links tomorrow.

The Panama equalizer was huge. Suriname would have been heavy favorites to qualify if they could have held that win, and this group looks unlikely to produce one of the playoff slots.
I'll do you one better, if Suriname didn't bottle both results in injury time this month, they'd already be qualified! Or would qualify with a win next month!
