Wikipedia says September 1 through 9, which is Monday through Tuesday. There will be club games on the weekend before, so just like what just happened, I do not expect any confederations to play until Wednesday September 3. In the Octagonal last time, Concacaf had only one month when they had two games, not three, but looking at that and the Hexagonal in World Cup 2018 Qualifying, I am assuming Concacaf will play Friday September 5 and Tuesday September 9. Another question is if Concacaf will have every team play on the same day, or spread it out, such as having six days that each have two games to make every team play twice. Having three groups of four is the same structure as the World Cup Qualifying Semifinals used to be, and that had every team play the same day. I hope that shortly after the draw, they announce the order of games and their dates. Concacaf has not posted highlights on YouTube yet. Here are their articles: https://www.concacaf.com/en/world-c...inidad-and-tobago-advance-to-the-final-round/ is titled "Bermuda, Trinidad and Tobago advance to the Final Round." It is about Groups A and B. https://www.concacaf.com/en/world-cup-qualifying-men/news/curacao-panama-seal-first-place-finishes/ is titled "Curaçao, Panama seal first place finishes." It is about Groups C and D. https://www.concacaf.com/en/world-cup-qualifying-men/news/el-salvador-advances-to-final-round/ is titled "El Salvador advances to Final Round." Thanks, I have a buddy who just moved to Bermuda and I am really thinking about a visit and maybe seeing a match.
I wonder if Concacaf will make every team have one home game and one away game every month. I think they should do that. Concacaf's sequence for Team A in groups of four in the Semifinals for 2014 and 2018 was: Home vs. B At C At D Home vs. D (playing them twice in one month) At B Home vs. C There were no groups of four in World Cup 2022 Qualifying.
Concacaf confirms draw pots and participating teams for Third Round of FIFA World Cup Qualifying 12 national teams have advanced to the Final Round The official draw will take place on Thursday, June 12, at 7:00pm ET Pots determined based on FIFA Rankings Pot 1(three highest-ranked teams): Panama (1), Costa Rica (2), Jamaica (3) Pot 2 (next three highest-ranked teams): Honduras (4), El Salvador (5), Curacao (6) Pot 3 (next three highest-ranked teams): Haiti (7), Trinidad and Tobago (8), Guatemala (9) Pot 4 (three lowest-ranked teams): Nicaragua (10), Suriname (11), Bermuda (12)
I am typing during the draw: Group A: Panama El Salvador Guatemala Suriname Group B: Jamaica Curacao Trinidad and Tobago Bermuda Group C: Costa Rica Honduras Haiti Nicaragua For the first time since Trinidad and Tobago in 2006, a Caribbean team will qualify because Group B only has Caribbean teams.
there will be three AQ group winners and there will be two Concacaf representatives in the Inter-confederation Playoffs (the host slot and the CONCACAF slot)
The order of games was announced. Teams will play one opponent on Matchdays 1 and 4, one opponent on Matchdays 2 and 5, and one opponent on Matchdays 3 and 6. Every team will have one home game and one away game in September. El Salvador (A), Curacao (B), and Honduras (C) have three consecutive home games, including both in October, and are away in both November games. Guatemala (A), Trinidad and Tobago (B), and Haiti (C) have the opposite, with three consecutive away games including both in October, and are home in both November games. I do not like that half of the teams have three consecutive home games or three consecutive away games. In all groups, the top seed hosts the second seed on the last matchdays, so the second seeds should hope to clinch a spot in the top two before that game. If a team is in second and needs helping from other second place teams not winning on the last matchday, the second seeds ending with their hardest game could make that happen. On Matchday 6, Concacaf needs to make the three games between 1 and 2 seeds, and possibly other games, at the same time, or some teams will have an advantage of knowing what they need after an earlier game. Here is the schedule: Group A: Matchday 1: Suriname vs. Panama, Guatemala vs. El Salvador Matchday 2: Panama vs. Guatemala, El Salvador vs. Suriname Matchday 3: El Salvador vs. Panama, Suriname vs. Guatemala Matchday 4: Panama vs. Suriname, El Salvador vs. Guatemala Matchday 5: Guatemala vs. Panama, Suriname vs. El Salvador Matchday 6: Panama vs. El Salvador, Guatemala vs. Suriname Group B: Matchday 1: Bermuda vs. Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago vs. Curacao Matchday 2: Jamaica vs. Trinidad and Tobago, Curacao vs. Bermuda Matchday 3: Curacao vs. Jamaica, Bermuda vs. Trinidad and Tobago Matchday 4: Jamaica vs. Bermuda, Curacao vs. Trinidad and Tobago Matchday 5: Trinidad and Tobago vs. Jamaica, Bermuda vs. Curacao Matchday 6: Jamaica vs. Curacao, Trinidad and Tobago vs. Curacao Group C: Matchday 1: Nicaragua vs. Costa Rica, Haiti vs. Honduras Matchday 2: Costa Rica vs. Haiti, Honduras vs. Nicaragua Matchday 3: Honduras vs. Costa Rica, Nicaragua vs. Haiti Matchday 4: Costa Rica vs. Nicaragua, Honduras vs. Haiti Matchday 5: Haiti vs. Costa Rica, Nicaragua vs. Honduras Matchday 6: Costa Rica vs. Honduras, Haiti vs. Nicaragua

Here is this month's schedule including start times in USA Eastern: Thursday September 4: Suriname vs. Panama at 5:30 P.M. Guatemala vs. El Salvador at 10:00 P.M. Friday September 5: Bermuda vs. Jamaica at 6:00 P.M. Haiti vs. Honduras in Curacao at 8:00 P.M. Trinidad and Tobago vs. Curacao at 8:00 P.M. Nicaragua vs. Costa Rica at 10:00 P.M. Monday September 8: El Salvador vs. Suriname at 8:30 P.M. Panama vs. Guatemala at 9:30 P.M. That will be the only time in this round that two games overlap without starting at the same time. Tuesdau September 9: Curacao vs. Bermuda at 8:00 P.M. Jamaica vs. Trinidad and Tobago at 8:00 P.M. Costa Rica vs. Haiti at 10:00 P.M. Honduras vs Nicaragua at 10:00 P.M.
The round started with Suriname 0-0 Panama. Panama was better in most statistics including more shots 15 to 9, and more shots on target 4 to 3. Flash Score gave odds that made probabilities of 53.2 percent for a Panama win, 27.4 percent for a draw, and 19.4 percent for a Suriname win.
Guatemala 0-1 El Salvador Harold Osorio scored in the 79th. Guatemala dominated statistics including expected goals 1.05 to 0.54, 72 percent of possession, shots 20 to 10, shots on goal 5 to 1, shots inside the box 12 to 5, big chances 3 to 1, completed passes 470 to 139, and corner kicks 10 to 1. El Salvador entered above Guatemala in the FIFA Rankings, and below Guatemala in ELO. Guatemala could qualify for the first time, and they would not have to travel across an ocean to the World Cup, but tonight was a bad start. The four Concacaf teams that played today combined to score 1 goal.
Two "surprising" results CONCACAF is one tricky pony. I'm scared Haiti might have something to say tomorrow in Willemsted against Honduras.
Bermuda 0-4 Jamaica Haiti 0-0 Honduras (in Willemstad, Curacao) Trinidad and Tobago 0-0 Curacao Nicaragua 0-0 Costa Rica in the 24th At least eight of the twelve teams did not or will not score in their first game.
Nicaragua 1-1 Costa Rica Nicaragua's Jason Coronel got a straight red in the 54th. Costa Rica's Alexis Gamboa scored in the 60th. Nicaragua's Byron Bonilla was subbed on in the 68th, and scored a penalty kick in the 81st. There were 10 minutes of second half stoppage time. Costa Rica was better in most statistics, but Nicaragua had more expected goals (xG) 0.99 to 0.46. Both teams had 2 shots on target. The odds made probabilities of 13.4 percent for a Belize win, 23.5 percent for a draw, and 63.1 percent for a Costa Rica win. https://www.youtube.com/@golazoamerica/videos has highlight videos. I did not post them individually.
Tonight's Panama vs. Guatemala game will be on CBS Sports Network in the USA. It is unusual for a game between two Concacaf teams that is not part of a tournament and does not have USA or Mexico to be televised in English in the USA. If Panama wins hosting Guatemala, and El Salvador wins hosting Suriname, Guatemala will be 4 points behind second. https://www.flashscore.com/match/football/guatemala-8KhCLQs3/panama-OWKqbCfi/ is for Panama vs. Guatemala. https://www.flashscore.com/match/football/el-salvador-8b5z2tKe/suriname-jefTDM4k/?mid=KUnJVzT9 is for El Salvador vs. Suriname.
El Salvador 1-2 Suriname Suriname's Radinio Balker scored in the 12th, Suriname's Anfernee Dijksteel scored an own goal in the 73rd to tie it, and Suriname's Dhoraso Klas scored the winner in the 82nd. Each team had 10 shots, and Suriname had more shots on goal 4 to 2. At the end of each half, the announcer gave the score with Suriname first because they led at halftime and won. In soccer, the home team's score is given first even if they are behind or lost. The announcer also said that the Estadio Cuscatlán is the largest stadium in Central America or the Caribbean, but El Salvador has to play their remaining two home games elsewhere. Panama has 70 percent of possession so far, but is 1-1 hosting Guatemala. If Panama draws, they will be third.
Panama 1-1 Guatemala Guatemala's Oscar Santis scored in the 35th, and Panama's Carlos Harvey responded in the 37th. Panama dominated statistics with 72 percent of possession, more shots 18 to 7, more shots on target 6 to 1, more shots inside the box 14 to 3, more touches in opposition box 34 to 8, and more completed passes in the final third 120 to 22. https://www.flashscore.com/match/football/guatemala-8KhCLQs3/panama-OWKqbCfi/summary/stats/0/ is where my statistics are from. The standings are: Suriname: 4 points, +1 El Salvador: 3 points, +0 Panama: 2 points, +0 Guatemala: 1 point, -1

Is he "really" better than Duckens Nazon?
This on the other hand would be pretty big Wilson Isidor, a striker for EPL club Sunderland, has reportedly given his verbal consent to join the Haitian national team next October. According to exclusive information from Sport Passion Info, he is ready to board the Grenadiers trainhttps://t.co/Ne6mDS6Nlc pic.twitter.com/JyN0CralsP— Sunderland AFC News And Banter Page (@sunderlandafc11) September 11, 2025
Does he need to be? The upgrade to the depth/rotational quality alone is still significant. Between this and Isidor, Haiti would have possibly the most potent attack (on paper at least) in the group.
I feel like with players like those, it doesn't sit well with them when they play from the bench. Since they're used to starting but idk. I'm not the coach. It's all about team chemistry ATP
Haiti leads 1-0 at Nicaragua, and Flash Score says it is "interrupted due to bad light," which I am assuming means a power outage. Honduras vs. Costa Rica is later today.
Flash Score now says Nicaragua vs. Haiti is interrupted due to rain. If they are unable to finish tonight, maybe they can play tomorrow. Then they would need to play on one day of rest, or Group C could have its Matchday 4 games postponed a day to make all three groups play on the same day. I hope they can resume. Duckens Nazon scored in the 12th. The odds made probabilities of 48.2 percent for a Haiti win, 27.3 percent for a draw, and 24.5 percent for a Nicaragua win. The odds made probabilities of 39.1 percent for a Costa Rica at Honduras, 29.9 percent for a draw, and 30.9 percent for a Honduras win. It is unusual for a draw to be the least likely outcome, but it is possible when the odds are close. Edit: After a delay of 71 minutes, Nicaragua vs. Haiti resumed. Now it will get to halftime about when Honduras vs. Costa Rica starts, when the plan was for it to end when Honduras vs. Costa Rica starts.
