Being that there isn't a lot to talk about, I'm surprised there isn't a thread about this already.

Is anyone planning on traveling out for the Union season opener in Portland? I priced flights, and if you book this early you can get out there for a little under $300 roundtrip.

It's one of the few major U.S. cities I haven't been to yet, and I hear that it is a pretty neat place.

I doubt that there is any word on away support tickets yet, but if anybody has any insight with that, please share it.

Depending on how some work/social things play out, I may be making the trip.

    ( fingers crossed )

I'll be there. I made it up last year and the Timbers Army couldn't be nicer. We hung out all day at their supporters' bar across the street from the stadium, and we all had a great time.

Also, Portland is a pretty great city to spend a long weekend in.

Yeah, someone should definitely bring TastyKakes out if you're coming from Philly. I feel like there were TastyKake-for-drink exchanges last year.

I'll definitely be there. A friend bought us tickets, but I'm not sure where they are exactly. The timber army is a friendly bunch I take it?

Hey Guys, just got done booking my hotel I am staying at the same hotel I did Last year its Courtyard Marriot Portland City Center its a brand new Hotel built maybe a year and a half ago. It is costly but at least I am not staying in a Roach Motel. Its right near The Maxx Line which is free in Center city Portland. If you haven't booked your hotel yet go to Booking.com they have the cheapest rates.
