How is the yellow fro? The pics on Adidas website looked a little big bird yellow but your pic above has a little more warmth to it.
Not that warm but just a bit; it's more vibrant than the last one and yes I did get both from Adidas' website. Personally I think this yellow is the best tone we've had in a good while.
Little off topic but I ordered myself the Atalanta away kit as a treat this weekend and it's super nice!
I bought the Colombia MNT shirt for my borther's birthday and it is the niciest classiest shirt in a long time. compared to the last one it is heaven
A lot of the previous ones have been running small. Last one I got was the blue and orange in medium, and that thing is skin tight. How's the fit on this one?
Sadly since it was a gift i didn't measure it on me.. I bought an L size and haven't heard of issues from him
The new Uniforms look pretty good. Well, compared to the weird pattern designed ones we had on the last couple years. I may be in the minority though but I still do not like the red socks. Although they are more traditional I wish we had white ones for the home matches but we do not.
I am torn on red socks ... I prefer the looks of the whites but red are more traditional. Since our new shirt has red accents I would like to see red shorts with it. ¿With yellow socks probably?
We got the Blue ones way before the Yellow ones. It should not have been a huge gap but due to the pandemic it just happened that way.
Since I like to speculate about Uniform combos: Against Bolivia we will more than likely wear the traditional yellow shirt, blue shorts, red socks. More than likely the same combo against Chile in Barranquilla. The Paraguay game will be interesting. There are many options but the traditional look will not be one of them it seems. Since Paraguay wears blue shorts we will more than likely not be able to wear blue shorts. So that leaves these combinations: Blue shirt, yellow shorts, red socks. (I don't think we have ever worn this combo in the many years I have been watching Colombian matches.) Blue shirt, yellow shorts, yellow socks. (I do not think we have worn yellow socks since 2019.) Blue shirt, yellow shorts, white socks. (Also do not think we have ever worn this weird Combo.) Blue shirt, white shorts, yellow socks. (Makes me sick just thinking about this weird one.) Blue shirt, white shorts, white socks. (We wore the combo against Ecuador WCQ.) Yellow shirt, yellow shorts, red socks. (I think our Sub20/Sub17 teams have worn these in competitions but not the Senior team.) Yellow shirt, white shorts, white socks. (My favorite combo and I wish we wore this at home all the time but I doubt we will wear this any time soon.) So if I had to choose which one I think Colombia will trot out in it will probably be the Blue, White, White combo but I am not sure if the white socks and shorts were a one-off sorta thing.
Hopefully they will upgrade in Summer/Fall 2022 cause it means we made it into the World Cup. If we do not make it to the World Cup we have to wait for March of 2023 for new uniforms the earliest.
id rather bring back the red away shirt from 2014. Best shirt by far, most of the shirts that followed have been crap,
the 2012 and 2014 ones are the best. adidas started off strong now is at some Lotto level of shitty designs Our contract is up next year? They trying to renew with Adidas or talking to Nike? I just really hope we don’t end up with Marathon or another B brand again. wish the fed was smart enough to try to do a deal with Adidas and include club teams. Like some of the club kits are fking awful. Think MLS all teams are adidas
I'd love that. I was not a fan of the red shirt but it grew on me. We have had very bad designs after that and the sombrero yellow, although the current kits are not that bad. Here are the current shirt providers for the FPC: https://todosobrecamisetas.com/2021/03/camisetas-de-la-liga-colombiana-2021-i/
thanks for that Other than Nacional. Every other team looks like a nascar outfit with all the sponsors on the front
Marathon came with nice designs for Peru and Ecuador in Copa America. I know that the issue would be how to get them in the US. The ugliest one by far was Nike's Chile.
I mean if we go with Nike. It would just be a slightly different color yellow Jersey. I mean I’m fine with adidas but want to make sure we are staying with the big 2 or at worst going to Puma. I don’t want a Colombia new balance Jersey haha
Ha! By far the best kit of the current SA teams, IMHO. Way better than their priors and distinctive. I think the Ringer ranked it the best of the Copa America too. I actually really like the current Adidas one too - it's simple but the yellow is the best in ages and looks great on vs. the dingy recent ones. The red 2014 is my fave one to wear though.
