1. Abel didnt played copa america 2015 and and copa america 2016....was discarded.

2. He returned to the national team in octuber 2016 after an absense of two years in official matches.......after guarin, daniel torres, sebastian perez, gustavo cuellar failed to replace him with irrgeular perfomances and mediocre performances......yeah abel scored agaisnt uruguay and played better the rest of matches than their failed replacements.

3. Colombia was lacking of connexion between defense and attackers to attack...and with abel they found again.

4. If you watch matches once for a proper analysis is useful to see in fact what are players are contributing to the functiong of the team ........not just in what team play or the age...........colombia with the arrival of abel again went back to connect midcamp with the attackers......main probloem that happen in copa americas and in the first matches of wcq.............yeah but is easier to say "he plays in cali i hate him" ..........because that is your more brilliant argument that you are able to create.
