    Tournament final
    Portugal wins PKs 4-2
    Desempate por penalties: Rui Miguel (1-0), Eskandarian (1-1), Rui Lima (2-1), Burciaga (2-2), Miguel (3-2), Gray (falhou, 3-2), João Paulo (4-2) e Stamler (falhou, 4-2).

    Lineup:

    ESTADOS UNIDOS (4x4x2): Countess; Chris Wingert (Thompson, 77m), David Stokes, Kelly Gray e José Burciaga; Brian Carrol, Kyle Beckerman, Logan Pause e Adolfo Gregório (Seth Stammler, 58m); Jaquia Nate e Alecko Eskandarian.

    beckerman and trembly just finished the two week portugal tour. Played 5 games. 2-2-1the last two went penalty kicks .They beat russia and lost to Portugal in the final

    Be interesting to see what would have happened if Donovan, Beasley, and Convey had played.

    Beckerman

    At least Beckerman got some work at a good level. Hopefully he is ready to make an impact.

    Similarly, Portugal didn't exactly have their best U23s in there either.

    FYI:
    Portugal didn't send their best 23's because this was their "B" national team" average age 26.

    FYI: Many of Portugals "A" national team players are 23 or under.
