What a walk in the park for the UAE. Hopefully Panama will be able to come second in that group. Good groups for Brazil and Argentina. Colombia can get at least the 2nd spot in its group too. Paraguay has it harder. Group A Group B Group C United Arab Emirates Argentina Brazil Slovakia Spain Canada Panama Uzbekistan Czech Rep. Burkina Faso Mali Australia Group D Group E Group F Colombia Saudi Arabia Paraguay Egypt Ireland Rep. USA Japan Mexico Korea Republic England Cote D’Ivoire Germany
how did mexico get there, did they have to play those power house countries just like they do to qualify for the world cup?
Mexico is in Group E with Saudi Arabia, Ireland Republic, and Cote D’Ivoire. The US is in group F with the Koreans. So I guess you think that the US will get their A$$ handed to them by the Koreans.
btw, in case somebody doesn't notice the groups list goes in VERTICAL order. So Mexico goes against Ireland, Saudi Arabia and Ivory Coast. did somebody really thought Brazil and Argentina where together? HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
That may very well be the case: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=669002#post669002
I think Colombia has a very tuff group. Egypt are the African champs and finished 3rd in 2001. Japan are the Asian runners up and the tourney might get moved to Japan if war breaks out in Iraq. You got to figure that the English are going to be good.
There are US troops in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and the Persian GUlf. All surrounding the UAE. And I'm sure that if they ask to have troops in the UAE they will. Ain't that enough security?
not in that section of the world for 20plus americans, and thousands of radicals.... has FIFA say anything yet? japan?
FIFA ha said that that Japan will be the back up host if they feel that the situation in UAE is to dangerous.
Univision Communications (NYSE: UVN) holds US Spanish-language TV rights to the 2003 World Youth Championships for players under 20. Coverage will air primarily on Galavision.
Nope they carried the games back in 2001. Galavasion is also going to carry the CONFED Cup this summer.
The games from France should be the middle of the afternoon or early mornig for us. I think there only is a 6 hour time diffrence.
