Ok, my comments (1) I'd rather most of the 2.7B be used more constructively. (2) I'm concerned that Qaddafi is becoming more intelligent. He's taking a page from the Iranians, who are vastly more dangerous than Saddam, but are able to stay out of trouble. We're not very good at dealing with clever enemies.
Spot on. Gaddafi has wrapped himself into a "repentant terrorist" package in the last 10 years. More recently, he has said some pretty pro US things. Whether he actually meant it or he's just trying to confuse us, i don't know. Whatever it is, it's probably some kind of ruse.
