We have officially triggered the buyback clause for Fran Garcia for 5 million!
He started in the Madrid youth teams when he was 14 years old. Now he returns after being selected as player of the season for Rayo Vallecano!

Finally a LB who can help Vini in the left side and knows how to attack. I hope Carlo will use him as a starter and shift back Camavinga to the Midfield

i like what I see of him, but not sure if he will be our starter. Davis is a serious target, I think and Mendy will be sold.

Look solid, and that's great cause we can't rely on Mendy anymore.

I'd like him to bomb the left side with RB Nacho shifting to CB with Militao and Alaba/Rudiger.

I just had a look and he will be 24 going into next season. Not that young, which surprised me.

Not to say I’m not happy with this signing, I think it’s great, I love Castilla players coming back and making up the squad. And maybe he will even become great enough to be our left sided Carvajal.

I dislike the Davies rumors. Rather the club focus on giving Fran the chance to succeed.

To add, I am confident with Fran and Mendy as our starting LB’s and then if the club is desperate for Davies for some reason, go for him next summer. No rush this summer.

    Let's go Fran!

Even more pace on the left...and above all attacking acumen. Fran will allow Vini to cut inside even better for more shooting opportunities.

Let's hope Vini got his own Marcelo here.

Great progress from kid after leaving Castilla...Shows that we got good academy , but they just cant get chance in our first team...
Now time to bring Hakimi back home or talk with Xabi for Frimpong!

Very happy we’ve brought him back. One of the best if not the best LB in the league. I would say for the last 2 years. He’s so dynamic and quick and takes up great offensive positions.

He needs to be the starter, I am more than happy with Mendy backing up the LB position for when Fran needs rest. Mendy used to be great defensively. Maybe he can regain that form. Great combo to have. With our RB not really a position of strength we need the LB to contribute offensively.

Having said that, we should temper our expectations a little. I am noticing that people think he is a Marcelo regen or something. He still has a lot to prove. Let’s give him time and confidence.

Looks like he took the number 20 shirt. Should be 7 for Vini maybe?

Doesn’t look like Bellingham will get a presentation at the SB. Fran’s was at the Alfredo stadium

I've been annoyed for a while as a follower of the Spanish NT because he deserve a call up a while ago.

Always cool to see a former Canterano return to the first team. Hopefully he is given ample playing time and takes advantage of it. Best of luck to Fran!
