Umbro Velocita 3 with sock....I guess the sock is here to stay

 

For a while at least. My guess is 2019 or 2020 when they start killing it.

 

Looks like a decent shoe. I still want to try the medusae

 

does the sock serve a purpose like provide lock down ala Adidas Techfit collar? If they do then I'm perfectly fine with it.

 

Hugely disappointment with the Medusae. Low quality, horrible finishing, and I've never had such low-lockdown in a boot. I couldnt step side to side without my foot rolling over, as the instep and outstep is just that thin mesh material. Was half a size bigger than normal, but still. Not good. Cramped up like help within 15 minutes, now they sit in my room untouched.

 

Pretty much the same as this for me too. Sad because i loved the colorway.

 

I meant sock-type boots in general for all companies.

It probably is for lock-down.

 

Damn. I'm really disappointed to hear that. I'm glad I didn't order a pair.

 

Sorry for the double post, but has anyone tried the UX Accuro? Looks like a decent boot as well

No we don't have umbro available to us unfortunately. I really wish we did.

I like the look a lot and I bet they feel really nice.

 

A lot of online videos say they are extremely comfortable. I wonder how the stability is though

 

Guys, how is the sizing of Speciali Eternal? Should I go a size up, down, true to size?

 

I might be able to give you an answer in a couple of days. I just ordered a pair and they should arrive around tuesday, at the latest.

 

I went True to size and they are fine. They are nice if you have wide feet as well. Very comfortable shoes and the leather soften and molds on your feet after few hours.

 

I agree with @newone88
I've got a pair with the AG soleplate. I normally wear 8UK/9US and thats what I went with and they fit great. Great fit with my wide forefoot.

I don't have wide feet but my fifth toe (the smallest one) in both feet is puffy due to my casual shoes I wear in my work which makes any non-wide foot boot painful

so I guess a boot that is suitable for wide feet would suit me, also, I really love the Speciali Eternal, such a classy design and great quality.

 

Does anyone have any thoughts on the Umbro Velocita 3? Using it, tempted to pickup the oranges ones but not sure about how they fit/feel.

I got mine on Amazon UK a few weeks ago. There were some really cheap deals on there, I think I payed less than £50 for mine. I got the black ones but the white ones were going even cheaper

 

No they don't! Those aren't the ones I'm talking about. They make them with a proper AG soleplate, not the HG ones that pro-direct have.
