He's a good guy that does miracles with the support that he gets.

What can't the douche coaches get cancer?

In hindsight, we didn't give Koch nearly enough props for taking the 07 team to the Final Four.

I mean, that team had zero players go on to play in MLS. When was the last time a team with zero future MLS players made the College Cup?

That was a George Mason-ish run.

    Best of luck to Koch.

An early morning treatment at Mass General in Boston ( 2.5 hours away) and then Umass hosted Delaware. The players dedicated the season to Coach Koch and surprised him with the initials " SK" on the left chest of their practice jerseys.
    Umass 1- Delaware 0.

Very touching and a wonderful gesture on the part of the players. I would just like to take this opportunity to wish coach Koch all the best on behalf of everyone on the forum and pray that he makes a full and speedy recovery from this dreadful illness.

    Sam Koch has got GUTS!

The treatments have to be very debilitating. The heat &humidity were tough for both teams and certainly affected him as well. He looks remarkably well in the post game video but I know it has been tough on him. He is a battler.

you might want to check his blood pressure too. Score the game tying goal with four seconds left in regulation (the official box score says two)? Incredible.
