He's never going to call up a 24 year old journeyman who has never been good enough to be an undisputed starter in any team. This kid has balls for gutting it out and not giving up, but it's never going to happen. The quality simply isn't there. Compare his beginnings to Tecatito's for example. Tecatito has shown his quality since he first got to Twente. Davila has never even found a permanent home.

Hind sight is 20/20 it's easy to call someone a dumbass, but at least he had the guts to go to out and give it a try, hope more of our players had that in them. With so many prospects that fall to the shadows in liga mx wish we had more like him that would try thier luck abroad. If they fail, Mexican teams are always more than willing to get them back. It's easy as a fan to talk crap, but they are the ones rolling the dice.

 

He's better off flopping in Europe than being at Chivas.

Davila has a different mentality, yes he doesnt put numbers but he signed a 5 year contract with Chelsea in 2011 which will be over in 2016 - next summer

Chivas is ass right now. Davila should stay away.

 

Chivas for one would have given him consistency and playing time.
