We should have to redefine term "allies". Sure, South Korea and Japan have their own motivations and intentions slightly different to that of the US, but they have US forces legally on their soil and they share the same list of enemies in the region as do the US. So, I would have to suggest that Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and, perhaps, in some limited fashion, Indonesia, Singapore, etc, are US allies in the pacific.
The US also has defense treaties with many of those countries, certainly including Japan and South Korea.
"Why does nobody knowledgeable on this topic agree with me," is a question you will not, but ought to, find you yourself a lot over the next four years.
Your delusion, as always, is that you’re the only one who has read up on the topic at hand. Sure, keep thinking you’re the special one, kid.
I know you've read things. But you are not knowledgeable on the topic. Find me experts who agree with you.
Why? You'd just disagree with them anyway. You're not someone capable of entertaining a disagreeing opinion. I'm not here to convince you, but to make fun of you. Because I mostly hold you in contempt.
Ah! So the point is to walk in here every few months and repeat the same stupid simplistic argument while offering nothing to back up your assertions just to troll Brummie. Rad. Weird that I didn't see that immediately.
well yes except putin started the war because he thought NATO was weak and would not respond. That is a failure of the posture of which Trump was already a very real part.
As far as I know, this is the first time this topic has come up. And the first time you ladies have gotten your panties up in a bunch over it.
The assumption that said military building up be conventional is…not guaranteed. It’s one thing to live in Germany comfortably knowing that in a conventional war you’re backed by America and that Americas response makes an unconventional attack nearly inconceivable. It’s another thing to be in that same spot realizing your deterrent is the French…or the English. That changes the calculus significantly. I don’t think you fully understand the honor with which Brummie wears this badge
Rubio for Secretary of State, congressman Mike Waltz for Jake Sullivan's job and John Radcliffe for CIA head. Could be a lot worse I suppose
It's like people here haven't opened up a book to learn some history. Europe will build up their armies, and to do so they'll have to cut back on social spending or raise taxes to maintain said services (those taxes won't be paid for by the rich). Which means less money and accomodations for the working class. Which means they have to purchase those accomodations through the private market, meaning even less money. People get upset as their QoL goes down. They look over the border at how well someone else is doing. Some damned fool does something stupid and the powers that be shrug and say, "Well, what have we been spending all this money on if not for this moment? To arms!" Basically that is what'll happen when Europe rearms. Cause that is what always has happened. The players and details and reasons change, but it's basically that.
Which is a wild thing to be true considering the many moments of the rich being dragged through the streets over the centuries. Something that hasn't happened here. But hey, I was told egg prices are going down. So what if several of my relatives are dying from the flu. Bird flu? Since when do birds make humans sick?!?! Freaking libtards making up stuff when Overlord Trump says it doesn't exist and it'll go away.
I don't know about the price of eggs but I do not expect them to go down unless we hit a significant recession.
I dunno if a bunch of knowledgeable people all disagree with you on something you barely understand, maybe listen to them
