Ok, but there’s a difference between Denmark collectively deciding they want to be a very secular nation and therefore restricting immigration from Muslim nations, and the stuff he’s posting. He is ascribing thoughts and motives of the worst Muslims to all 1.6 billion of them. It sucks when people do that to Christians, or Jews, etc.

Thank You for the clarification. I will call it racist all I want, but there's a whole lot of xenophobia wrapped into it too.

I mean, are you seriously dumb enough to think Mexican & South American immigrants wouldn't preserve some of their culture if they wanted to move there, like making Stegt Flæsk med persillesov with spicy chorizo instead of that unseasoned pork belly you thin lipped Temu Nazis make it with
I just wanted him to say it out loud.
    Dig up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Or a Senator from Louisiana
Even the Cholos and their Lowriders?
Japan has more than a couple of ethnic groups, but the dominant Ethnic group pretends that that's not the case. Edit - I see @American Brummie already covered this
Sounds like the white folks I used to go to church with talk about Mexicans and South Americans, changing their culture and apparently, making them all become Catholic and eat Tex-Mex twice a week
That's why we just ascribe it to the Dirty Danish Butter Cookies

Well also it's all very well for Denmark to decide that but large numbers of migrants continue to arrive in Europe who are not white christians. Last year in germany the majority were still from Syria. Those people will have to go somewhere. Why shall Germany and Italy and France take Denmarks share? There needs to be regional solutions to the facts on the ground.

Your question is based on an assumption that not everyone in Europe shares. That is, that large numbers of migrants should be permitted to settle in countries in the Eurozone.

Yes. We all know that Europeans are racists and rather than identify that as a problem, have chosen to pretend they are somehow above it.

I think if you're Danish, Polish, or Latvian, the answer might be "that's not my problem." If the Germans or whoever want to let migrants into their country, what does that have to do with Denmark?

    But! Back on topic:

High res satellite images of the ammo depot that was hit the other day are starting to come out and the losses are pretty massive.

The tweet below marks which of the bunkers are destroyed or heavily damaged in the high res videos in 2 of the 3 areas. I haven't seen anyone doing an equivalent analysis of the larger darker area and I suspect it is because it is not as easy to identify the damage with the darker background and the area is also still obscured by smoke from the fires.

    Here's a tweet with before/after gifs.

Shared sacrifice/prosperity is one of the cornerstones of the EU, isn't it?

EU was not created with this attitude in mind. Remember - shared responsibilities, common market place, etc...

Reality is these unfortunate people (and, yes, they truly are unfortunate) become Europe's problem at the exact moment they reach European borders, at which point, they are already hundreds of miles from their ravaged motherland.

Did anyone note that many piles of rockets and other assorted ammo were stored in between the buildings, without any protection? I mean there is a chance that those piles were hit, which jump started the whole conflagration.

exactly. some people struggle to understand this. saying they can’t settle in the EU is one thing. but what shall be done with them in the meantime?

Rwanda showed how stupid this kind of thinking is.

deportation at scale has never worked because you have to have somewhere to deport people to.

then you have groups like afghans and syrians who cant even be returned.

it’s almost as if some people posting here missed the last ten years of history.

remember the US can’t even achieve these pipe dreams on its own southern border let alone the vast borders of the EU

There's a candidate for high office who thinks it's easy to deport 20 million to Venezuela. Maybe these racists can talk to that one and trade tips?

I think there are a number of countries in the EU who don't agree that being the endpoint for all of the world's dispossessed is what they signed up for. Certainly, you're going to have a tough time convincing a country like Poland or Hungary to become a destination for significant numbers of non-European refugees or other types of migrants.

I don't know. European problems aren't my problems, just like migrants' problems aren't my problems, either.

The US is actually pretty good at interdicting migrants crossing our border. Current estimates is that roughly 90% of migrants are interdicted by the US Border Patrol. Of course, a lot of that is because they just surrender at the border, but the US border is pretty heavily monitored.

    https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/a...rder-crossings-aren-t-really-breaking-records

The bigger issue for the US is people that enter the country through proper points of entry and then overstay after their visas have expired.
