    Dear Britain,

Dammit, would you guys quit giving Ashcroft any more wacky ideas?

    Thanks,

    There's somebody worse than Ashcroft?

Applying only to those with dual nationality, they could lead to undesirables being deported from the UK.

Home Secretary David Blunkett said British citizenship was a "privilege."

Hate to tell you guys but the US has ALWAYS had this law. Drug dealers and other law breakers have found this out for themselves.
It's just England getting "Smarter" in dealing with trash, I wish they had done it sooner.

I personally support this law. I would imagine that anyone it is applied to will be able to apply for judicial review & this will therefore prevent abuse of the law.

The judges here are very vigilant in protecting rights of people, even when that goes against the express wishes of parliament. Unlike the US we have no official division of powers but the judges obviously believe they must act as a counterweight to an authoritarian government.

Well, we're all Europeans now anyway.
