    Hi,

    Sorry to bother you all

Does anyone know of any 'MLS fan' get togethers in the UK?

Other than myself I dont know anyone remotley intrested in MLS here in London, England (I'm sure there must be loads of people)

It's a bit borring here saying to Man united, Arsenal etc fans - "Did you catch the DC united game on Channel Five last night" I usually get blank faces looking back at me.

Come on there must be some other Uk based fans

    All the best
    Elliot

I'm a fan of MLS, who will soon be moving to London. I'd love to know where I can chat MLS with others there. Does anyone know what kind of coverage is given to MLS? From what i hear C5 has one match a week at like 3 am? There is no coverage on Sky or NASN?

I'm a MLS fan (former Galaxy season ticket holder). Work has taken me to London for the time being, so add me to the list.

Some times you get a game on Channel 5(and last season it was about 2 weeks old, some times they'd just show parts of the game, etc).

Sky doesn't show any MLS, and NASN didn't for the time I had the free preview of it (i don't care much about MLB or College Football, which are the only things it seemed to be showing).

Hopefully things improve, but I doubt it.

its a shame that Sky Sports doesn't carry at least the FSW game of the week or MLS Wrap...from what I hear Sky is also owned by NewsCorp, so there wouldn't be any rebroadcast fees

There would be a fee, the rights that they have are for domestic broadcast of games. But they could probably get the international rights fairly cheap. I seem to remember that a couple of years ago there were MLS broadcasts in the US.
