So, we've got about six days until the European transfer window closes, and we know for sure whether Beasley is staying or going, but I just noticed something awfully alarming.

The 2002 Chicago Fire schedule magnet.

Why is this significant, and what does it have to do with Run DMB, you ask? While I'm glad you did, I was going to tell you anyway.

There are four players pictured on last year's magnet schedule. They are Hristo Stoitchkov, Peter Nowak, Josh Wolff, and Beasley.

    (cue scary music)

    p.s. Is it April yet?
p.p.s. I think I've been reading too much Loney

Well, they also gave out those posters last year...you know, the ones with Eric, CJ, Josh, Beasley, Chris and Zach.

I don't think it means anything, which means that you're beyond Loneyville into Looneyville :)

Or the "Barnburners Table of Doom" at the annual FWFK luncheon.

So far, we've sat with Podbrozny, Wolyniec, Whitfield and Saavedra. The only player to remain on the Fire squad a year after sitting with the Barnburners has been Whitfield. We'll see who gets the Table of Doom this year.

--- I see. So that's why Peter Wilt doesn't sit with us at the FWFK luncheon. He doesn't want his ligaments to go kablooey, and he doesn't want to be shipped out of town...hmmmmmm :)
