But like a Denver fan last year, I'll take it.

Let's do it again next year at Azteca when it counts!

Please refrain from comparing the USMNT to Tim Tebow

The USMNT reminded me of Greece last night...Not a great team to aspire to, but they did win the Euro playing with 10 behind the ball like we did.

Hey, I won a Fantasy Football title last year with Tebow as my starting QB...;)

Sometimes, the whole really is greater than the sum of the parts...

Winning ugly is a rite of passage for any squad looking to accomplish big things in the near future.

If you can't win ugly, you might as well leave CONCACAF because I can name at least 3 Central American nations who can only win ugly.

This is not the simile I would use, otherwise the fairy tale will similarly end with the US getting wrecked 7-0 to get eliminated from the World Cup.

Hey, trust me, I'm no fan of any Florida football team, nor a particular fan of Tebow. I just thought the comparison was worthy. Orozco may get the glory for the goal in history, but Timmy was our Matt Pranter, the guy that really made it possible. Few chances, but we capitalized and Chicharito did not do so on his.

No one is going to win pretty in the Azteca. Even Spain tied there in a fashion that was not the prettiest to see.
