UFC 126 - Saturday, Feb 5 Fight Card Anderson Silva v Vitor Belfort Forrest Griffin v Rich Franklin Mike Pierce v Kenny Robertson Jake Ellenberger v Carlos Eduardo Rocha Jon Jones v Ryan Bader Miguel Angel Torres v Antonio Banuelos Sam Stout v Paul Kelly Chad Mendes v Michihiro Omigawa Paul Taylor v Gabe Ruediger Norifumi Yamamoto v Demetrious Johnson I know its a bit premature, but this card thumps UFC 125 by a mile. The main event. Griffin vs. Franklin. Bone Jones vs Bader. I am liking this one a lot. Can't wait, so let's discuss it now.
Update on Vitor Belfort, who recently received his blue belt in Shotokan Karate, is having South American Karate champ Jayme Sandall to assist him for preparing for Anderson Silvia. We are coming closer to this fight. Can't wait. Should see some fireworks in this one
This should be a great show - I mean, Yamamoto/Johnson isn't even making the Spike prelims. -- Which Vitor Belfort shows up to fight? That'll determine how the main goes. -- Just how much does Franklin have left? -- Jones/Bader has the potential to be one hell of a fight. -- Torres is a fun fighter to watch. Hoping he can get back to a title fight.
A. Silva sporting the Corinthians jersey. Normally I'd say WIN to that. But considering Corinthians current form, that might be bad karma
Post fight interview, He had on another Corinthians shirt. Timããããããããããooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! BTW, front kick, sick wit it!
I saw it. Now I know why he is wearing the Corinthian shirt. It's for Ronaldo the Real Phenom. The Phenom is Vitor Belfort's nickname. When I saw the #9, it made total sense. That bozo translator didn't even repeat what Anderson said about Ronaldo. What a poser Anyway, great event. Couple of surprises. Good TV
Yeah it was legit product, although I was expecting more hands from that Franklin X Griffin. The pressure will be on for that Silva X GSP fight, you think? But GSP has Olympic aims.....allegedly.
I guess Da Spyda is a Timão fan. Didn't know that & another reason why I like him. I heard he was a Columbus Crew fan Also the whole thing might be about money because Da Spyda signed a marketing deal w/ Ronaldo's 9ine. Good stuff all around for me & You
People won't remember this, but when Vitor caught Anderson's first kick and they went to the ground, Anderson narrowly avoided a HUGE right hand by Vitor. That was a fight ender. But Anderson was very prepared and avoided most of Vitors blows, and how do you train for a guy who can pull off kicks like that?
