Timmy has definitely earned his place in the squad as a defensive alternative for the coming season at least. He's been fine everytime he's been called upon recently.

Not seen Chong tested defensively at all, but he's done well coming forwards. Andreas has done really well too actually.

 

There was one moment when Mata and McT screwed up and we were short at the back and he recovered with a great spring and picked up the man on the far post like he was supposed to. Other than that he's had nothing to do.

 

He's having fun. Can't blame him.

 

Definitely wouldn't mind seeing more of AP (even just as a sub role for Bruno) in the coming games. Was decent enough today and arguably should have started ahead of Mata for this one. He showed promise in the first 15mins or so but he looks shot.

 

FT: 2-1. At least they've got the win.
