That was a very us goal to concede.

Just put the ball into an area and you can rely on Onana and one of the defenders to do most of the rest of the work for you

Better off not having midweek Euroball next year anyway. This team cannot handle it. Need to rebuild in the Prem.

This. While it would've been fun to play in CL again it's not realistic to expect major progress having to play every 3-4 days for 3 months. So now we have a full offseason to get ready and we'll have a decent amount time in between games to work on various things. Sucks to lose but I do agree this is a better long-term outcome.

Id settle for moderate progress right now, let alone major.

We are so, so, so far behind where a club of our size should be.

Amorim is going to get crucified now. If we don't start fast out the gate in August, it's another lost campaign as he won't make it to November. I'm seriously worried for him.

We're between a rock and a hard place.

I went from on the verge of being really pleased with Amorim to indifferent if he gets let go tomorrow. Granted, I didn’t watch this game, but I can feel the frustration in myself just reading this page and a half thread. I take shaudenfreud that the owners and sir Jim missed out on tens of millions and are sweating investments.
