Euro U17 started yestersay in Sweden

    Group A :
    England 3 - 0 Norway
    Sweden 2 - 3 France

The french were leading by 2 until the 77" min but the swedes rebelled and scored 2 in 8 min. The third french goal and the victory came from Rachel Adedini (substituted 71 "). She will be 15 y.o next june and plays in England (Man united) since sept 2022 :alien:. Never heard of her before yesterday..

    Highlights Sweden - France

Adedini has a profile similar to Katoto and mainly trained at the Pole Espoir from Tours. She moved to Manchester United back in 2023. It is very rare for France to play a u-15 player in the u-17 team.

Excellent goalkeeping saved Belgium from conceding 5 goals in match vs. Poland. Outstanding performance in goal by Aude Waldbillig.

Worth to keep an eye on Weronika Araśniewicz (no. 15) in Polish team as well.
It's no wonder that Barcelona scouts already asked for her this winter.
According to women's football journalist Joanna Tokarska, Ralf Kellerman - Wolfsburg director also has shown interest and came personaly to watch her play during qualifiers.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more unusual youth team than this French team lol.

Unfortunatelly it most likely will not be a close game. Three Polish players and two people from staff are out, sick with fever and stomach flu. :(

Finals dates confirmed. Fun fact Poland are hosting the u-19 Euros in 2025 and the u-20 WWC in 2026.

    France 3 - 1 Serbia FT
    Robillard 66', Rossi 83', Sangare 90'+2 --- Matejic 34'(p.)

Nice comeback, though I expect it was bit edgy before Rossi goal. ;)

In other match of group A a tough day for the hosts...

    Lithuania 0 - 10 England FT

i have noticed Poland are doing the u-19 25 finals and u-20 WWC 26 finals too. That's a fantastic opportunity to prepare properly for the 2006 generation.

Yup, PZPN (Polish FA) put some thought behind this (for the first time) introducing reforms in 2019 and making dedicated strategy for woso. Obviously there are no guarantees that our youths go far at home Euro's u19 or WWC u20 ...but as you pointed out this will yield for the future a broad pool of quite experienced players from 2006-07 generation
