Finland had valid PK shout or at least clear FK on the edge of the box in 80:15 waved by the ref though... Oh my, now Fanny Rossi (?) went judo throw on her opponent and get in return only a finger wave from the ref... uh... what a joke no YC call... I tuned in for last 15 mins of this match.. was officiating this bad earlier?
yes it was clearly a YC for Rossi, and after less than 5 min of play, she made at least 2 fouls . I didn't know her, i understand why she is on the bench, bad way of play... The refeering has been in the average of what we are used to see in female football, rarely good, too often rather bad (for both side) Anyway, France showed more, especially in the middle field and forward : tactics, vision, technical skills; faster
Yeah, from little I saw France was a better team. Finland, ambitious as they fought weren't on the same level. I feel for them though cuz suspect officiating either way makes an underdog fight twice as hard.
Popopopo, festival of the spanish girls, far above Norway.. Not tall, not very athletic but so skillful ! I didn"t see the match between Danemark and Germany, but among the four teams i saw today, Spain looks like a champion....
Substandard performance by Norway. They started badly in the qualifiers as well and lost to Serbia in the first game, but still qualified. Will need to improve against France now.
U17 Will France be crushed by Spain tonight, as the other teams ? The "Bleuettes" must improve their level a lot to win, I feel it will be very difficult...

Well well, almost the same as the other teams...Spain was better. however, some key players stayed on the bench, Chassenote, Calba, Elimbi, Mendy, Ollic, Marques, and the regular goalkeeper Belhadj. None of them seemed injured. Some entered during the second half. Maybe the coach thought that it was less important to try to win this match than have fresh players for the semi final against Germany. Hope a good calculation
Teams in the semi-final have two shots at qualifying for the World Cup, so France and Spain rested many players to have them fresh for Thursday.
🇩🇪 Germany are into the #U17WEURO final (and the #U17WWC) after beating France 1-0 in Zenica. The holders await the winner of tonight's Sarajevo semi between Spain and the Netherlands - while France will have a World Cup play-off on Sunday 🏆— UEFA Women's EURO (@WEURO) May 12, 2022 Fully deserved win for Germany thanks to a great distance shot by Alara Sehitler. Germany should have scored more goals but France didn`t look dangerous anyways.
Yeah, after initial wave of attack (15-20min) France just tired and from that point had very little to offer in terms of build up play. Germany played smarter game imo.
the pup guy remarked more than once that they seemed inexplicably tired. several of them had been rested in the previous game vs spain.
We go to penalties after a great save by Böttcher. Enrique 0:1 Veit 1:1 Pou saved Bender saved Inigo saved Sehitler 2:1 Pujols 2:2 Gloning 3:2 Lopez saved

Germany and Spain just keep producing quality team at u17 level for more than a decade now. Their youth system is amazing. It's a conveyor belt of talents.
