Euro 2017 is the first time it went on sale here (iirc), they kept checking with me if I bought the right packs (it being women's football stickers before the Euros had started) :D. This one I have fairly complete but couldn't decide on buying one of those 50 pack boxes or completing it through Panini and in the end kind of forgot all about it :whistling:.
Completing the 2019 one wasn't worth it for me ...

Probably for tradition's sake still selling individual packs, but iirc the complete 2017 one could be bought for €70 from Panini (cmiiw) which I also only found out about afterwards ... (2019 of course had more teams and more stickers so was probably a bit extra for a full album). There is a difference between countries as well I have found between what and how long after things remain available.

The eBay one is from sticker sellers that open normal packs and then make a complete set. Also only a pre-order I read ...

Personally I much prefer the real cards like Topps and Upper Deck, etc. sell but of course this has become yet another milking cow I'm not getting into (although if I had known about it on time I would have bought the Topps Womens Champions League pack).

Topps are super expensive, the WCL pack was really pricey and they did have not many to sell too.

Iirc the retail price was like €35? Beats spending €120 on some stickers ;) (but you are right in that there was limited availability and price per card may be on the high side). Many moons ago I had the 1994 World Cup Upper Deck set, makes Panini stickers pale in comparison. I wasn't advocating for a full WC/EC set of Topps though, that indeed would probably be expensive but an incidental small set like the UWCL would be nice to have.

But I came across videos like these some years ago and seemed a good way to collect Panini rather than sticking it into the actual album (have seen better fitting ones). Probably some of you already do it like this(?) ...

It's a different idea... It was more like 60 euros plus I think

(one German unboxing video mentions 45 euro so perhaps it was 35 GBP. Edit: another UK video thinks it was about 40GBP. Think the ones one eBay I came across a few months later were around 80 Euro+)

    Portugal in Group C:

Russia will not participate in this summer's UEFA Women's EURO 2022. Portugal, the opponent defeated by Russia in the qualifying play-offs, will now participate in Group C.

Now, what about Panini album's release? I suppose they won't make it in time to have Portugal in it instead of Russia? :cautious:

I'm waiting for our supermarkets to start their own (free) collection campaign (normally 4 cards in a blister with every 10 euros of bought stuff.

Funny, I just picked up some 1994 Upper Deck Women's World Champions cards with the USWNT players. I know they'd be more expensive, but a full set of cards for teams would be great. I wouldn't even buy a full tourney set, just individual teams. I'm all for collecting things that don't weigh much and don't take up a lot of space. (Especially since my jersey collection is about to exceed my actual clothes.)

Guilty. I've never once stuck a Panini sticker on anything. I keep them like cards. Just in sleeves. I don't have enough to keep them in a huge book. Not yet anyway.

Yes. ESPN and TUDN. I imagine ESPN will release a schedule closer to tourney time detailing the exact channels, possibly including ESPN+, probably for the smaller/early matches.

Panini Germany gives as a bonus the Portugal team if you buy the 75 packet box for 69.99 Euros

  18. Are Dutch supermarket chains the only ones to have soccer tournement sticker actions? None in other (European) countries?

I can remember a lot of promo's but never a sticker one (not one especially/specifically for a European or World Championship). If you are thinking of 'AH' stickers, this is run somewheren in january/february every year.

No hint of Euro 2022 stickers on the Dutch Panini website so far :whistling: (and yet available in Germany already)
