TS scout, Rui Dasilva, said that the u17 & u19 is the strongest teams yet. The U19 made the finals. The next starlet, Bruma, was the star of the match, his pace is hard to match and he is a great passer.

Bruma is a MEGASTAR! He was all over the place in this game.

Btw, Armindo Bruma has 2 goals, 2 helpers for Portugal, so far.

I couldn't find any video for the game. Did anyone find it yet? (I found the U17 game between France and Spain and the U21 game with Holland, but not this one).

BTW, Portugal, Spain and France in the same group?!? Yikes. Tough group!

Completely dominating Spain but every time we get into the box with space the players try to pass instead fo just shooting. I'm kinda shocked you'd figure they would be trigger happy with that much space.

I don't get it completely dominate have chances and are now down 2-0 from two quick Spain goals. One went in direct from a corner.

In the first 20 minutes we could of scored 3 if the players just shot the ball that the wide open net instead of trying to pass through defenders beside and in one case BEHIND the play.

    Lot's of talent, no brains.

Unfortunate, but thats the way it goes sometimes. You dominate the whole game without scoring, and when the other team gets an opportunity, they score. Portugal still has a lot of talent, coaching needs some work though. Still can't beat France/Spain when it counts.

Btw, What did you think of Bruma?

Our kids lack tactical discipline and/or off ball thinking. Something that the french and spanish youth have, respectively.

Perhaps but Portugal played in a dominating fashion. I guess good discipline is part of a winning strategy.

Draw with croatia today in qualifying. Sancidino Silva sent off.
Played pretty average, Defence was rock solid, attack was disjointed
which is a bit suprising considering the amazing attacking talents in this side.
Paciencia is injured but apart from that the front line consisted of
Bruma, Sancido Silva, Helder Costa, Carlos Mane, Carlos Daniel.
Austria up next they lost to the dutch today.

You win, you lose - it's part of the GAME! Who do people think Portugal is the 'best team in the world'? We're not. Slowly we'll get there. Patience.
