English Premiership champions Chelsea have eight players in contention for the team of the year named by European football's governing body Uefa - more than any other club http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/africa/4537916.stm Ricardo Carvalho on the list, but not Gallas?
Could someone please explain why Drogba, del Horno and Carvalho are included. I can clearly accept the rest, even Robben despite his numerous injuries. However, the initial three are puzzling to say the least.
PSV last season. That's why Essien is included, for his Lyon form. Besides, here's the Uefa page for voting, etc: (www.uefa.com/fanzone/TeamOfTheYear/2005/flash.html)
Could you please think of something else to do when you are completely shown up, as your current method is rather tiring indeed. Would you also like to answer my initial question or state who you would vote for in each category? If not, then move along.
Oh dear. There are lots of good players that have either played better or had more of an impact in 2005. In saying that, the general quality of this years nominations is rather poor.
Oh yeah, Teso said Scholes is better than Lampard. If what ManUtd fans say is true, then Ferguson is a complete moron, because they keep claiming their side is more talented than ours.
Please. All this whining is making both Chelsea fans and a Man U fan look like Gooners. Let's stop, eh?
