Didn't think Deco was all that superlative either...gave away a lot of balls very cheaply.

    Sylvinho got absolutely destroyed.

Anybody want to see if Arsenal will take a reduced price for Ashley Cole? :)

I believe this is what people refer to as a wake-up call. Remember we started slow last season too, and came roaring up the table from like 11th.

But well done to Sevilla. The one thing you CANNOT question is that Sevilla wanted this trophy more than we did. And as such, they deserved it.

As a side note...Dani Alves...did I say I liked that guy? What I meant is he's a cheating pr*ck. He has a world of talent, but I think I saw Deco blush once or twice at his antics.

Motta is not consistent enough to play in our first team. Today exemplified this and he should be shelved for when regular players are injured.

This was certainly not the good game we played. but this game might help the team to be more motivated before La Liga kicks off. it is almost immpossible to win all the trophies in a season and i wish this was the only one we are not winning this season.:)

I still say no need to panic Mates . This is relatively speaking the pre season before the Liga opener next Monday. Fc Barcelona will just get stronger as the game keep progressing and their rhtymn will improve. In a way that got over confident and seemed to think it was going to be Cruise Control liket the friendly game agsinst Bayern Munich.

Yeah. I didn't see the game, but I read somewhere that Sevilla spent most of the pre-season preparing for this game.

Wow, RM fans are pathetic. Jizzing themselves over a Barca loss in a glorified friendly. I guess thats what 3 seasons (and counting) of mediocrity will do, though.

That is true Sr. Benavente wanted this trophy bad so he could shove it up Lopera's ass when he gets back to Sevilla. I just hope he takes some good pictures when he does!!

I am sure if you had a penis you would be masturbating to our loss right now.

Kind of pathetic. But when your team blow's ass chunks like Madrid do I guess you can only cheer when your rivals fail. :)

The Madrid board is a sad, pathetic sight. Madrid fans(a few exceptions) along with Iranians are the lowest of the low in this whole forum. Come to think of it most of the moronic Madrid fans have middle eastern locations.

Must be something in the water.

I'm not happy that Barca lost to a very rested and clearly inferior Sevilla side. It waters down the whole purpose of the trophy. FC Barcelona were touring all over North America and had tons of players in the WC. Did Sevilla need to jump through those hoops? I think not.
Barca were the best side in all of Europe last year. I don't need a Euro Super Cup to tell me that. I know enough about football to know when something is a fact.

Good luck on the upcoming season, hope VCF and RMCF can give you guys a run for your money and make it interesting. I still think you are the odds on favorite.

P.S. I hope you DESTROY Chelsea and mr. MOANING-HO!
