I don't see your quote. And no Portugal isn't shit, but they weren't amazing either. This game was definitely shit. And our own attack was the most shit of everything. Of course, i'm sure some random 12-14 year old Dutch kids may have posted such things (as those kind of kids do for every team) but the absolute majority of citizens, fans, commentators, and analysts in the Netherlands were very realistic about the game. No one is surprised to have lost.
Santos proved me wrong today, I thought William + Danilo was overkill but man did they ever boss the game and allow Bernardo and Bruno Fernandes space to do their thing. This match was never in doubt. I’m more than comfortable with Pepe/Dias partnership heading into the Euro. Going forward we desperately need a 9 to occupy the CBs and act as a focal point for Ronaldo. This will be a bigger competition some day and it’s great to go down as the inaugural winners.
Because of Koeman's history in Portuguese football (Benfica) i thought the dutch would have us this time. He also managed and really likes Jose Fonte (Our CB that was in for Pepe being injured) He knew Fonte's weaknesses so i thought we were exploited big time with your manager.

It's definitely not the whole dutch fanbase. They know their record is very bad against us, the real fans would temper expectations. Just like every Portuguese fan would if we were facing Germany. It's usually a bandwagoner or the children that spout non-sense for other teams.
