I would like to know how many people would pay $5 to watch these games.
I know that Fidows is have the games, but will be charging about $15-$20
per game. If there is a big demand, we will be posting all the info ASAP.
    thanks

I voted $10 but I would prefer $5, but it isn't an option. You guys hosted a fun event for the US/Mexico Olympic Quals ealier in the year and I'd come back!

    Thanks.

I would pay $5 but I would also guarantee that I would buy a torta when I was there, as well as 7 Pacificos.

I'd pay $5 (not an option), not $10, for an early game. I'd pay $10 for some of the later round matchups. And I'd buy food and bear.

Certainly, if it gets good (England-Germany, Germany-Spain, something like that in teh later rounds), I'd be willing to fork out some real cash.

Having already paid for the entire package, I'm not likely to fork over a cover charge for anything other than the final, and then only if I've got friends willing to go and join a big, vociferous crowd.

I'm not sure what the package cost is for a commercial establishment, but in my opinion there shouldn't be a cover charge for any of the games. Setting a two-drink (or food) minimum would be OK, but I think any establishment using a tournament such as this to attract business should look at it the same as any other cost relating to promotions or advertising.

What kind of TV do you have?

Thanks for inviting us all. Real neighborly of you.

I like this idea. You know you'll make a nice profit on people eating and drinking enjoying the games. Just advertise them well.

I'd pay $5 for a game and would buy food and beer. Too bad it wasn't an option in the poll.

The reason that I asked this question is becouse the price tag for all these games is a wopping $5200. Thats a perty penny. They base it on max copasuty. The bigger you are the bigger the price of the package gets. If I know that people would spend money to cover this price tag, I would make it free, thats why I need this kind of info.
Please keep giving me this great info.
    thanks a mill

    FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS?

That's insane. I know these greedy bastards base things on max capacity but come on, how can they expect any business outside of a major downtown area like Manhattan or Chicago to possibly afford such outrageous fees?

Too bad they don't base it on the potential/likely viewing audience. In a spread-out metro area such as Colorado, it's only all the more difficult to attract viewers when so many soccer fans already have a satellite dish.

Again, I'd be willing to pay cover for the final and perhaps a "big" match or two, but the convenience of having the entire package at home (I'm 30-40 minutes from Aztec Sol) combined with a low cost just makes it tough for me to justify coming down for too many more matches.

Sorry to hear about the ridiculous pricing structure!

I'm game for a couple or few games with cerveza, señor!

I'll even bring my English neighbor and brother-in-law, which should pay for the viewing rights in one night if past performance is an indicator.

    Cheers,

thats the bad part of having a bar. All sporting events are priced high. I would hate to see what "FIDOS" is pay these people. I would love to show all these great games, but the price tag is what makes me think. Wish I won the lottery, would make all sporting events free for life, or till the money ran out! LOLOLOLO.

Greenie and I both got it through Sentana sport using Directv. I don't know how you can get it through Comcast. You might try www.soccertv.com. They usually have all the information necessary for cable and satilite PPV.
