Poland may have a PK claim here. VAR in action.

Lewy bailed by the GK. Scores the 2nd attempt. But seriously, his PK taking technique just so clownish and terrible.

    1 x 1

Holland now in 1st and France drops to 2nd.

Austria were a bit of a dark horse team. Not to win but to do well. I'd put them through in 2nd if I had done a bracket.

As of right now we (Romania) have a choice of playing France if we finish 2nd or England (if they somehow do not lose vs Slovenia) if we finish 3rd.

If Belgium has like 3-0 vs Ukraine I would rather lose honestly

So Mbappe is great at WCs but seems to suck at the Euros. Interesting trend.

Bracket just opened up big time for England if they don't mess up and finish 1st.

Germany, Spain, Portugal, and France all on the same side.

Yeah, my reverse jinx (below) didn't work. England on an incredibly lucky streak of getting easier paths to finals (not that they would succeed necessarily).

Who's underperforming more, them or England?

Previously, I'd thought that France would grow into this tournament, but they look like they've plateaued a bit.

France. Because France are underperforming in the eyes of the world. England are underperforming in the eyes of the English. :ROFLMAO:

Two goalless draws to close this England group. Also, no team in this group scored more than 1 goal in a game. Terrible group.

Throw this group into the vulcano and sent teams from other groups

3 horrible teams got out of Group C

If its any consolation, France at least got punished for their mediocre play. They could be looking at Belgium, Portugal, Spain/Germany just to get back to a final.

OTOH, I'd be surprised if the betting sites don't have England as even bigger favorites to win the Euros than at the start of the tournament given their path vis-a-vis France, Spain, Germany's.

Damn Bravo is so good. Why did we let him go before?

Argentina with another win. So far so good. Messi is still the best

The Euro is a tougher tournament than the World Cup. So he says.
Maybe he meant it's tougher to get hyped up for the Euros than the World Cup. :coffee:

Ukraine is out even with 4 points as all the teams in Group E finish with 4!

Who had Romania topping the group?:confused:

Portugal fielding a full B team ( :sneaky: ) worked out well for Spain.

Ronaldo was ticked off he didn't score. To be fair, he did have a legit case for a PK when the defender held on to him for a bit too long.

I see the US is losing to Panama. If they don't get a draw they are likely toast. Getting a result vs Uruguay will be tough.
