Man, it's really quiet around here. I guess the draw over the weekend left everyone speechless. Freakin' psg w/ a title shot. Now I know we are heading to the Apocalypse.

2-1 victory, but...sigh. It's sort of like the Zenit result from last season, but on a lesser scale (we didn't have as many chances, but also scored one fewer goal).

We'll see what happens in the return leg. And, of course, in Paris on Sunday.

Awesome freakin' week. First punking psg in their punk crib, then advance to the Quarters of the UEFA Cup. Allez L'OM!!!

Shakhtar in the quarters, PSG or Dynamo Kiev if we get by them.

What irony that they play Brandao's former team. On paper OM might have the advantage but there are too many other factors involved to say who's the favorite. I think the Ukranian team has some expensive Brazlians who are pretty good.

I am still reeling over last's season exit in the UEFA Cup to St. Petersburg. I remember how we all felt & thought it would be easy. With that 3-0 lead going into the last moments. No one thought that late goal for Zenit would be enough. I hate to write this, but Eastern European Clubs are the krytonite for L'OM. I would have rather played a German side instead. Oh well, Allez L'OM.

I agree but I also remember a few years ago they had a Champions League qualifying match vs a Ukranian team (Dnipro?) and OM won and advanced.

Yep, Dnipro. We only went through on away goals, but it was in July.

I'm not sure how having the second leg(s) at home will effect things. I guess it could lead to a bigger atmosphere at the Velodrome.
