I think this game deserves its own thread. We might even get some Napolitani visitors.

    First Leg
    Stadium: "Loro Borici", Shkoder, Albania
    Date: August 14, 2008
    Time: 20:30 local time

    Return Leg
    Stadium: "San Paolo", Napoli, Italia.
    Date: August 28, 2008
    Time: 20:00 local time

My optimist prediction: Vllaznia gets a tie at home and gets thrashed in Napoli

My pessimistis prediction: Vllaznia gets thrashed both at home and away.

I'm still psyched to see an Albanian team play a team of the Napoli caliber.

It has been a while since a big name came to Albania.

Wasn't it Barcelona the last big name?

Parma against Teuta in 1996/97 or so, even though not as big as Barca :)

Well it looks like Vllaznia will be without Sukaj, Lika, and Teli all three of them have been sold to Hacettepe a Turkish Super League team. They will be greatly missed but at least Sinani is back.

    FORCA VLLAZNIA!!!!!!!!!!!

Why did they sell them before such an important game? Is it because the transfer window is closing.

No the market closes September 1st. The Turkish Super league starts the on the 24th so maybe the club wanted them ASAP so they could get time to train with the team.

Well. Vllanzia lost 3-0 to Napoli. Too bad they couldn't score a goal for their fans who showed up in huge numbers.

Napoli were the better team for most of the game, but the match was much more competitive then the final scoreline. Bottom line is that Napoli had their chances and they finished while Vllaznia didn't. The ref did miss a penalty call but its all good we're Albanians we're used to that.:(
