Games of German clubs: TODAY Hertha BSC vs Groclin Grodzisk, 5.30 p.m. CET (ZDF live) 1.FC Kaiserslautern vs FK Teplice, 6.15 p.m. (ZDF excerpts at 8.15 p.m.) Austria Vienna vs Borussia Dortmund, 8.40 p.m. (ZDF live) TOMORROW Hamburger SV vs Dnjepr Dnjepopetrovsk, 6.00 p.m. (ARD live) Kamen Ingrad vs FC Schalke 04, 5.30 p.m. (probably ARD excerpts after the HSV game)
Just saw a quick change: Kaiserslautern's game starts a quarter hour later and ZDF covers the second half live.
Berlin vs Grodzisk 0-0 FT Poor performance by Hertha. Grodzisk stood well in the defence and had some dangerous counter attacks mainly in the first half. Another game that stressed Marcelinho's importance for the team. Lautern vs Teplice 0-1 HT Early goal, can't tell more.
Kaiserslautern lost 2-1. Very embarrassing results for the BL; a home tie and a home loss. Dortmund is tied 1-1 in the second half away.
Dortmund wins 2-1 away to save the BL further embarassment. It still may be that all three of these teams go through, but FCK and Hertha certainly did not do much to help themselves.
Kamen Ingrad vs Schalke 0-0 Another poor performance by Schalke that played with several amateurs (voluntarily) Hamburg vs Dnjepr 2-1 Actually HSV played pretty concentrated, but Dnjepr stood well in the defence and had occasional counter attacks - they took the first already in the 10' causing some insecurity for HSV. After HT a hand ball led to a pk that was converted by Hoogma. Romeo scored the game winner ten minutes before the end.
