    Coming up this Friday.

I can't claim to understand how UEFA performs their draws, but based on this website (Seeding in the UEFA Cup 2006/2007) West Ham is currently an unseeded team pending tomorrow's results.

I'm curious on people's preferences for an opponent. Some obscure team from the likes of Bulgaria or an established side like Feyenoord or Rangers?

Personally, I'd prefer a "minnow" that would guarantee a group round appearance for the Hammers.

As I'll be in London the week of the 1st round I'm just hoping for a home game.

West Ham are unseeded and have been placed in Group 6 for the draw. This means they'll play against on of the following:

    Feyenoord
    Basel
    Palermo
    Rapid Bucuresti
    Osasuna

    PALERMO!

opening at home on Sept. 14!

Considering that Serie A won't be starting up until Sept. 10, I like this draw.

I think I'll go to this one. Just got some Ryan air tickets for 80 return, including all taxes. Just hope my brother comes up with the match tickets.
I may even go to the away games. He he, looking forward to this.

We could have had an easier game, but we have to beat teams like this if we're going to progress. C'mon you irons.

Fancy a beer in the sun Stomps?:)

    - Fairly decent team.
    - Made it to the Round of 16 in last year's UEFA Cup.
    - Notable for their pink uniforms.

Looking at the way the draw was set up, West Ham and Spuds were definitely the two best unseeded teams. Palermo seems to agree...

    Palermo unhappy with Hammers

    Warning: Pink shirt content ;)

Looks like something a women's bowling team would wear. Sol Campbell should have signed for them.

...and I thought supporting West Ham was a long suffering commitment.

Being a Palermo fan must invite constant p1ss take with those pink shirts. :D

Just how does the club expect the manager to attract players to the club when they have to run around the pitch wearing pink?
