    Chelsea v. KAA Gent
    Stamford Bridge, London
    3:00PM EST
    TV: Paramount+ (US), discovery+ (UK)

Andri Gudjohnsen is Eidur's son and has 2 goals in 8 league games.

This will be a really tough match because we will make it so and because Disasi is likely to play right back.

    Interesting from WeAin'tGotNoHistory:

"We are by far the biggest team in this year’s competition, certainly in terms of UEFA coefficient (and that despite a year out of Europe): the gap from us (96.000) to the next highest team, FC Copenhagen (51.500) is almost as big as the gap from Copenhagen to the lowest ranked participant in the league phase, FC Noah (2.125). Or to look at it another way, our coefficient is almost exactly as much as the next two put together. One of those two, KAA Gent (45.000) are in town today."

    Also:

"the logo of Gent (with a T) Football Club is a Native American head in profile and in full headdress, which is ... weird and random, to say the least. And it gets even more problematic as it was apparently inspired, some 18 years after the fact, mind you, by Buffalo Bill’s traveling Wild West circus, which went to Gent (the town) back in 1906 as part of its exploitation of native peoples."

Europeans are weird. But not as weird as Americans! And, by the way, "Native Americans" is a pretty dumb term. They were neither native (no one is native unless you're in a specific area of Africa), nor Americans."

    1-1 draw

Expensive bunch of reserves that is.
Not to mention the 30 million quid spent on Dewsberry-Hall

Yep, Indians is the preferred term on the Rez. They don't really see themselves as 'Americans' at all. Which is quite logical everything considered. [I have spent some time at Pine ridge. Pine ridge is essentially a concentration camp and the guards have left and the inmates were never liberated].

Dewsberry Hall should score. . . but he doesn't.

I think he has the potential to be one of those Azpi-type signings. Under the radar but will be of immense value all over the pitch. He looks a man-beast.

I like him. He wants to play and he works hard.

Veiga is now the first player to score for us this season who is not deployed as one of our front 4.

Nkunku has been very quiet. Obviously not a natural no.9.

I have to say........I'm a little 'underwhelmed', they are not a good team and you can see why this team is our 'shit Euro competition team', I don't expect to see many of them play Sunday............Still I don't want to be too grumpy - a win is a win.

That is what I have been saying, join the NJ train;):D.

Though I do hope to see more Nkunku in the League, he is quite the finisher. Let us be the anti-Carlo with an up side down sorta Christmas tree. A 4-1-2-3. I think Caicedo by himself may be better than Enzo jr-Caicedo. Nkunku and Cold at sorta 10's with Sancho NJ Mad up top, and with the inverted fb's it compensates for enzo jr sitting. (also wish he would give Carny a shot, may be better than Enzo-jr in not too long)
