Strama' returns to Serie A! A very canny appointment to replace Guidolin.

There's a lot to work with. Hopefully he'll be able to implement his style of play without the "landlords" cramping him, like it happened at Inter with naive pressures. Strama wants Romagnoli on loan as one of his first moves. (source Mario Corsi).

Wow. That's pretty big news. I was wondering when Strama was going to resurface. I had read that Guidolin was helping them look for their new coach.

    Is Guidolin retiring?

From coaching yes. He is now the technical director of the 3 teams that the Pozzo family owns. Udinese, Watford, and Granada.

I asked the same question on MLS boards without much of an answer but what exactly is the role of a technical director?

Hahaha. I was wondering the same thing actually. What exactly is a technical director? I'm guessing he oversees the structure of the teams.

I like him. Not gonna set the world on fire but love his workrate and all the little intangible things he does.

Europe= Germany,Hollande and England (they have good young players).
