Such a disappointing goal to give away, pretty simple run by Messi not tracked by Shaw or Lindelof. Then Shaw slow getting over to Suarez.

Felt more like a gift from us.

It was a fair challenge, absolutely no malicious intent. This is a contact sport after all. They might have forgotten that in Spain.

 

Dalot needs to attack that.

 

After a really poor start we’ve been well on top

 

That chance was harder to miss than it was put on goal. But somehow he managed.

 

A change in setup (back to a back 4) and the introduction of one of Martial or Lingard would be welcome. The former at minimum with Dalot playing on a more advanced role on the right should have already happened though.

 

We haven't been bad, which makes the error in our defensive setup all the more annoying.

 

Performance ok, spoiled by one poor piece of defending and some poor shots / headers when they did come our way.

 

Our lack of technical players is annoying.

 

last 20-30 mons have been good but nothing to show for it ..

 

HT: 0-1. At least we got better as the half went on, but we still look all over the place. The changes are pretty obvious and straightforward from my point of view.
