No, it's going to be in Nashville. There's a USA v. Brazil women's game in Birmingham this week though. I think we're just going to watch some soccer, I don't really care who wins, I'm just hoping for a good game.
It was a 1-1 tie. It was fun to see a game in the South certainly. Too often we have to travel to the midwest or the northeast to see division 1 club soccer. It was one of those games where they used everybody rostered and the lineup in the first half was almost totally different in the second half for both teams. They didn't have any programs or anything, so I can't comment on any of the Tecos players. The Galaxy has some really good chances and failed to put them away. I would definately say they were the dominant team though. The Tecos goal was a good play, but was more the result of a poor keeping decision. The Galaxy keeper didn't make it to a punchout and while the Teco player still had to make a nice flick in to score, it was easily a preventable goal if the keeper had stayed home. Arturro Torres scored a rocket of a goal from well outside of the box for the Galaxy.
