at 37 y/o and barley having any minutes with Al Wahda might be the reason behind it

Majed Hasan, Fabio Lima, Ali Saleh and Al Hassan Saleh didn't join the squad need time to recover from injury, Shabab Al Ahli's Ahmed Jumaa been called in the final minutes.

Yeah, it was never a starter anyway. Hopefully Fabio will regain his form after that injury. UAE needs him

Hey I wanted to ask about attending games in the UAE these days. I'll be in Dubai in a couple of weeks to dive the Deep Dive Pool, I also noticed al Nasr is playing Al Jazira that weekend and was looking to maybe attend. However, I see you need to get an online ticket and it seems like you also need a green pass on the Al Hosn app. I believe the only way to get this as a guest is to take a PCR test on arrival and to be honest, I don't really have time to bother with that. Are they pretty strict about checking this at the stadiums still if anyone has been to a match lately?

Abu Dhabi are still strict with all the procedures, like you need PCR to enter their city ect., I haven't attended a match since Feb 2019 tbh but I know Al Wasl & Al Nasr do free PCR test a day before the game for tickets holders as shown here

Interesting, Qatar is tomorrow finally getting rid of Ehtraz (which you need for football) as a requirement for going into just about every building other than your home so I was wondering if UAE is doing the same. I arrive late the night before so won't have time to do a PCR to get the Al Hosn app green and honestly don't want to go that bad to do that. The fear of getting a false positive and getting stuck and not being able to make it home is too great I'm afraid.... What about travelling between Sharjah and Dubai? I didn't think about this but flying Air Arabia as flight prices have skyrocketed between Doha and Dubai before the world cup.
    Cheers!

Traveling between Dubai and Sharjah or other parts of UAE doesn't require PCR only the Emirate of Abu Dhabi still strict with the PCR procedures which includes Al Ain, but most people here in Dubai don't wear masks anymore.

Yeah I just read that, unfortunately this happened 2 days after I left :geek:

Still tickets say, "- Green Pass system or presenting a negative PCR test less than 7 days prior to the game will be allowed to fans of all ages." Tickets to Shabab Al Ahli FC vs Al Nasr FC - Platinumlist.net

Anyway, not sure if they actually do that or not, but as it turned out there were too many other things to do in Dubai anyway other than football, but next time....
